Large spacious living room/kitchen area, then door into bedroom and large bathroom. Our room had a tub and shower, as well as an all-in-one washer/dryer. There was also a nice balcony with table and chairs. We had trouble accessing WIFI using "motel guest" as SSID, however, when asked the staff said "resort guest" was also theirs and it worked great. We struggled using washer/dryer until we noticed they provided the instruction manual in the closet.

If you have a choice stay in Jurien Bay just 20 mins further...

If you have a choice stay in Jurien Bay just 20 mins further North. There is nothing to see at Cervantes. We stayed here whilst travelling from Perth to Kalbarri and back but wish we had stayed at Jurien Bay.The Seashells Cafe has bad food and the Cervantes Fish and Chips were the worst we have ever had. The only saving grace is that it is close to the Pinnacles Dessert which is AMAZING- and Cervantes is the closest place to stay if you want to enjoy the Pinnacles at Sunset or Sunrise.

We had lunch at the Lobster Shack, that was fabulous!

We had lunch at the Lobster Shack, that was fabulous! I'm a vegetarian and my husband loves lobster, so we were both very happy. Dinner was at the pub, great meals and value for money. Terrific coffee and breakfast at the local caravan park, they had a deck out the back, it was great, And the Pinnacles still amaze me; it was so interesting. Definitely drive around the park and visit the tourist office.

Was able to check in before 2pm.

Was able to check in before 2pm. Before checking in we went out to the Pinnacles, which was out of this world, bit warm the hottest day we had while away. First night there we eat at the pub as the motel had a private function on. We eat at the motel the second night, meal was quite good, Breakfast was at the motel and had a large range of food. Very easy to get around Cervantes.

I've travelled to Cervantes about 5 times in the past 20...

I've travelled to Cervantes about 5 times in the past 20 years (from the AUS East Coast) and just love the location. It's quiet, has beautiful beaches and driving distance to shops in Jurien Bay. Makes for a perfect stay and is in very close proximity to the Pinnacles.

Cervantes is a small and quiet town.

Cervantes is a small and quiet town. We needed an overnight stay on our way to Exmouth. Next we would like to stay in Jurien Bay to experience the difference. This time it served our purpose and the stay was pleasant.

Small quiet town which has managed to survive the downturn...

Small quiet town which has managed to survive the downturn in to fishing industry by diversifying into tourism. The pinnacles nearby have been key to its development. Good local services including a general store, petrol station and Tavern ensures tourist are well catered for. There is also a golf course.

There is not a lot of accommodation in Cervantes however for a one night stay our large one bedroom apartment more than fitted the bill. It has easy access by car to The Lobster Shack (highly recommended for lunch) and the Pinnacles Desert NP
