I was lucky enough to stay here for 2 nights whilst working in Cowra and i will continue to try get my accomodation here in future stays! The gardens are also beautiful and the horses coming to visit me on the porch made it even more special. This place would be perfect for a romantic getaway!!

The town centre is compact and has good amenities for shopping and eating. The main drawcard is the Japanese Garden and the associated history. The Lachlan Valley Railway Museum is also worth a look. It is also a good base for exploring the wider region.

We really enjoyed being in Cowra, and felt very comfortable.
We really enjoyed being in Cowra, and felt very comfortable. We went to the Cowra Club for dinner on Saturday night - the plates of food were huge; we couldn't eat it all! But the food there was fantastic and well-priced.
We visited the Japanese Gardens - what a beautiful, serene place. We really recommend visiting.
We also visited the information centre there and viewed the hologram. She told an amazing story, and we were very impressed with how this was presented.

My friends and I enjoyed our visit to the Japanese Garden.
My friends and I enjoyed our visit to the Japanese Garden. If the EV charging station was working, we could have stayed a bit to see the museum and wonder around the town. It's a shame only one EV charging station in Cowra. We had to leave soon after our visit in the Japanese garden to get to Bathurst to charge the car. It would have been a wonderful experience to have eaten in local cafes, and shop around.

The improvements to the POW camp site were excellent.
The improvements to the POW camp site were excellent. Of course the Japanese Gardens were our favourite. We ate at mnay local restaurants and found the food very good. Particular mention is the Breakout Brasserie Cafe. Good breakfast!

The Japanese Gardens are very beautiful and there are lots of other lovely parks in the town. The Information Centre is a must see particularly the hologram re the POW breakout. Plenty of choice for food and very friendly locals in the shops, pubs and clubs.

Fantastic Visitor Centre. Go there first. Great hologram re Cowra Breakout. Well set up, lots of local produce. They had a wine tasting when I visited great staff, cafe and toilet facilities
Clean town, lots to see and do.
POW camp site is excellent, War Cemetery, Gardens

Very well located, easy to find and access. Across road from a club for nice meals/entertainment. Quiet, private and very comfortable with good kitchen equipment. Covered car parking a great bonus. A delightful place to stay in Cowra. Very highly recommended.

Small room for the price in comparison to other motels we've stayed at. More similar to pub hotel style bathrooms and rooms. Didn't like it that the bed was up against a wall on one side. Comfortable enough and clean though.
