Excellent location for a mid trip stop, whether a short driving break or an overnight stay. Excellent bakery & coffee shop open during the day, and the takeaway adjacent makes amazing big classic Aussie style burgers. The Bowling Club also has great meals, all at great value for money

Breakfast at Feed The Soul was delicious; the waiter was kind and helpful and showed authentic hospitality. We visited FoodWorks, which has a great variety of goods. I would have liked to have been able to buy a small rug and pillow for the car trip. There was great coffee at the Bakery, and the service was lovely. The chap brought our coffees to us, which we didn't expect, thank you for that. We drove around looking at houses that seemed slightly overpriced for the isolation, half a million for the average home. We bought ice blocks and drinks at the little shop and were very pleased with the service. The young lady was lovely, and we noted the Australian and Aboriginal flags in the window. Thank you for the acknowledgment. Lastly, our relatives took us for a big drive around the high school and surrounding places, which was very nice. We enjoyed ourselves. It is a town that is a part of history, and we all need to visit a place like Culcairn.

Motel is tired and needs attention. Pool had algae on the bottom and was slippery. Air conditioning noisy. We needed to use as there was a note to say small insects came into the room through the holes in the wire, keep the windows closed. No pizza as stated on the website and also in the literature in the room. Breakfast was good in town
