Beautiful studio, perfect location central to everything, lockable shed for bikes. Apart from the stunning studio, it was the personalised touches that really stood out- a welcome note, beers in the fridge, freshly ground coffee, amazing smelling soaps in the bathroom. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

The bonus of fresh walnuts was so nice. I started cracking and eating even before unpacking! The location was perfect for wandering around this small village. The kitchen was brilliant, big and well equipped. They let me park in front of the cabin for most of my exit day, as no-one was coming in. I didn't personally met the owners, but we spoke on the phone. The front porch was really handy as it was raining and I could dump my stuff there. I made use of the heat-pump!

So many beautiful thoughtful touches. A gorjus carafe of sherry: record player and records: a warm glorious bathroom floor: a bath outside was so good: we wanted to go to the floating spa (highly recommended) and they were fab leant is the towels after we checked out! It’s not a cheap options but we loved it.

The location and accommodation was beautiful .. Accommodation was very well presented and had everything you need. Outside our accommodation was beautiful with seating and fire pit . This exceeded my expectations . Great job

This town has come a very long way in five years, aside of...

This town has come a very long way in five years, aside of the mountain bike infrastructure, the location is perfect. The drive there is easy, the weather was very cold which was great for mountain biking, a bit too cold for the gravel event I raced in, but perfect for shredding trails, Stacey from bodyworx is the local physio and offers a fantastic recovery and fitting service, the sauna on the lake is next level.

This trip marks the 11th year I've visited Derby, and I never get sick of the place! Such an incredible variety of mountain biking, and the trails just keep getting better and better. This trip was my first time riding Triple-3, and I was super impressed by how much work had been done on one of my favourites, Atlas. Everything else still riding fine, despite the cold and wet weather. Come prepared for any weather, and you're guaranteed to have a fantastic time!

Best little holiday town in Tassie.

Best little holiday town in Tassie. Friendly, happy welcoming vibe. And of course the mountain biking is excellent. Nice cafes. Hire facilities. Shuttle to top of mountains. Best little pub too - the Dorset.

Love the location. The closest property to the Derby trailhead, and super convenient to everything we needed. Also love the small, but very functional kitchen. Everything in it that we needed and more. Bike shed was great, too. Big, tidy, easy to get bikes charged at the end of the day. You can see the giant granite slab at the top of the final descent on Trouty, from either the porch or the bed in the main bedroom!

The central location of the property meant we could easily find the accomodation and ride to the blue derby trail head or walk to eateries each day. We loves that a lockable shed was provided for our bikes to be safely stored rather than having to leave them on our vehicle. The host Caleb is lovely and we enjoyed meeting him in passing during our stay and could tell he is very passionate and community involved.

Loved the styling of this property. The kitchen was perfect for cooking. The surprise from the host on the table was so beautiful. Loved the instructions and communication was fab!! It’s a great place for privacy as well as family togetherness. Derby is definitely for those who love the outdoors and bikes enthusiasts.

I had a wonderful stay, the staff were all very friendly and the room and bathrooms were clean and functional. Perfect for a solo traveller or couple heading to derby. Delicious fruit toast for breakfast.
