It is a very small town with limited internet, in fact there...

It is a very small town with limited internet, in fact there was not internet available when I arrived. The whole town was down. In winter, cafes and restaurants close at 2pm. There is no where to have a meal.

Our trip to the Killer Whale Museum was very interesting.

Our trip to the Killer Whale Museum was very interesting. Make sure you arrive before 2:30 at the museum closes at 4 pm and you will want enough time to look at all of the exhibits. The Pizza shop two doors down from the motel has awesome pizza! I had never enjoyed prawns on my pizza before and it was amazing!

It is a lovely spot, elevated but with a small harbour, good local lookouts over the bay. The Whaling museum is fascinating. Nearby the Seahorse Inn at Boydtown is interesting and serves good coffee. Beware! the fish and chip shops are closed on Mondays; but a good meal may be had at the Golf club. It also has a useful shopping centre with a Coles supermarket. The information centre is at the harbour and worth a visit. We didn't visit Boyd's tower through lack of time. We weren't there at the time for whale watching which is a great attraction.

Eden is a beautiful spot to enjoy a family holiday.

Eden is a beautiful spot to enjoy a family holiday. So many little towns surrounding to explore. We explored the Whale museum, Boyd's Tower, Davidson Whaling Station, Aslings, Pambula Beach, Corcora Beach, Tathra beach, Merimbula Main beach. Went to Green Cape lighthouse (albeit a really rough 20 + KMs of corrugated road in a 3.5 ton bus!!). We explored the lookouts and walks, the Wharf there's lots to do for all ages and fitness. Mountain Bike Trails, Boat Cruising, Fishing depends on your taste and budget.

The Seahorse Inn has an interesting history.

The Seahorse Inn has an interesting history. We had a very comfortable stay in one of the cabins/villas which was a very short distance to the beach and the main building. The restaurant was fabulous we really enjoyed our meal. They have a number of different options on the property for people to enjoy this beautiful part of the world. They have accommodation in the main building and cabins/villas, there is also a camping ground further down the end of the property for caravans. We hope to return again and spend more time here.

Eden is more of a quaint fishing village, if your after...

Eden is more of a quaint fishing village, if your after razzle dazzle this is not the place. However it is lovely to step back a bit to a town that is not too overdone and is very authentic. Loved the sea feel to this town and the people were very friendly and the Whale Musuem was extremely interesting. Only a short distance to other towns (Pambula, Merrimbula) where you can get all the razzle dazzle you need.

A newly restored historic hotel that oozes with charm and character. The location is excellent, the staff super friendly and the bed very luxurious. Our ocean view was a delight, but sadly no whales today. The lounge is a peaceful place to have a quiet drink and rest after a long drive to Eden.

Loved the location and the room had everything we needed. Clean and spacious and so nice to have a toaster in the room. We have travelled across Australia and so many motels no longer provide a simple toaster. Bed was comfortable, lovely hot water.
