Lakeside was above expectations, the staff went out of their way to help in every way. The lodge is beautiful, ski in and out. The hot tub was a hit with the grandkids after a day on the slopes. The food was amazing we will definitely be back!

The space was incredibly considered and well designed. It made the most of the cost space, and 4 people were able to move around and store their belongings easily. The kitchen is one you actually want to cook in, and makes clever use of space. Wonderful balcony views and easy ski in and ski out.

Very amazing décor ..... German/Swiss style alpine lodge . Lots of dead stuff and cuckoo clocks on the walls(don't forget the piano accordion music) . Very warm and cosy feel with great bar/restaurant/Breakfast hall. Owner and staff were very friendly and try the "Boot shot" to warm you up. No other accommodation in the area offers this style of hospitality .

Falls Creek has a "village" atmosphere which makes it very special. The skiing is perfect for beginners/intermediate. We really enjoyed the choice of runs and getting to know what is available to stop for "happy hour" and hot chocolates! We had meals at the Falls Creek hotel and the CHOP HOUSE. These were "events to remember"!

Falls Creek is easy to get around.

Falls Creek is easy to get around. Plenty of eating options, most reasonably priced. The weather you get what your given, but I do accept that when lifts close down, or are on wind hold , it is for the safety of the clients. Staff, lifty's were friendly and helpful. Every lift we went on the staff were friendly and greeted you with a smile and spoke and acknowledge your presence. Great team work.

Falls Creek has many runs and is organised well.

Falls Creek has many runs and is organised well. It’s beautiful to see the mountains around with all the snow on it. It has a good variety of hotels and cafes. The staff on the mountain are so friendly and helpful. They really made our experience so much better. It is run very well. Our family had such a good time. We would love to come back. We had some great coffee under the orange umbrellas. The shuttle bus that runs up the main street is very helpful. And the local supermarket had everything we needed. Falls Creek Central snow sports was so helpful when we hired our equipment. They even delivered it to our hotel and picked it up. They were very friendly and knew what they were doing.

There's no better place to ski in Australia for ease of...

There's no better place to ski in Australia for ease of access to slopes, cafes, restaurants, accomodation. Perfect slope progression for all styles of skier and amazing lifting capacity so there is rarely a que to wait in. Best snow making in Australia, great coverage. Great resort to access and enjoy for families too.

When travelling off season, many facilities were not open,...

When travelling off season, many facilities were not open, but the essentials such as the supermarket and the coffee shop at the resort were. The great part about Falls creek is that you can just relax indoors if that's your thing, you can enjoy the great outdoors, ride your bike or hike the trails. A fabulous getaway!

Beautiful summer environment which may have changeable...

Beautiful summer environment which may have changeable weather including thunderstorms. A variety of walking and hiking trails and plenty of hilly terrain. Stunning mountain and valley views, wildlife spotting and quiet, remote areas. Village has adequate food supplies and a post office, although medical help is a long drive down the mountain and no pharmavy supplies are available at Falls Creek village.

The place was azaming. As per the title it was cosy. The owner even left a extra treat out when checking in. I left a really important personal item behind, the owner just really helpfull. Could not recommend any more. Great price to be right in the middle of ski in / ski out in falls creek

Good access Gully lift, falls creek road to walk to Slalom Plaza and to walk up to the accommodation without taking the oversnow transport (150m). Home cooked breakfast each morning & coffee (extra $). Comfortable lounge. Great ski room.

FFCC is one of the first accommodations as you enter Falls Creek. It is easy to access and unload your gear. When there is snow it is ski-out-ski-in. FFCC is comfortable and staff friendly.
