AustraliaThe location was lovely and quiet, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. We loved the balcony which overlooked the back area of the units, as we could sit quietly relaxing.
We stayed for three nights and enjoyed a lovely dinner each night in the hotel which is very close. All staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Fell in love with Gympie. I was told it was a dump! Beautiful day, had breakfast at the new church restaurant and was very impressed with everything. What a find! Will recommend it to everyone.
Lovely flower shop too. Excellent service and bought beautiful flowers for my daughter.

A delightful stay, our accommodation and it's location were both fantastic. We explored the local and historical attractions and parklands, also ate locally at both the Victory Hotel and the stunning Surface Hill Church Restaurant and Cafe in Gympie.

We were looking to move out of the rat race that is Sydney, and have been house-hunting in many different areas.
Driving around town, we immediately felt at home.
Spending several days looking at different properties. Wandering around town, speaking with the locals, we have decided that this is where we want to grow old.

What you are asking doesn't really apply to us.
What you are asking doesn't really apply to us. We were at Gympie to play at the bridge congress - no other reason. As the congress was for 2 days we needed accommodation overnight. We are not travellers, holiday makers or other types of visitors.

We went on the Mary Valley Rattler was a good trip, very interesting. By driving up and staying night and the coming home the next day was a relaxing wary to do this trip. We went to Gympie RSL prices were High and food just ok.

We came to Gynpie the night before and the night after riding on the Mary Valley Rattler train which was a wonderful thing to do
I did the VIP experience but my husband did the footplate experience where he got to go down in the engine room of the train and he loved it

Quiet, clean, comfy beds.
At night time, now that the highway is diverted, it's super quiet. Great location. 3rd time I have stayed here and it's always excellent. Anytime I stay in Gympie I will book at The Great Eastern Motor Inn and I will always recommend it.

Bed is extremely comfortable, coffee is amazing, and room smells beautiful!
It’s amazing to have such a farm getaway within 1km from Gympie.

The accommodation was in new units at the side of the hotel. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, the room size adequate for four adult males and the reception staff were helpful.
