Staff was amazing and friendly. Free laundry service and my cloths were folded on my bed. Rooms were clean and fresh linens every day. The owners assisted with dining suggestions and local festivities. It’s right on the golf course and has tons of wildlife. This hotel was an amazing experience.

Very comfortable, everything that you could need, all handy, shelves and power points where you need them and lots of storage for a small space. Lots of nice touches. Definitely stay at the Bower's Hideout again!

- Exceptional Hospitality: We booked just one day prior, and the host was incredibly responsive. We arrived to a lovely personalized card and flower bouquet, along with a custom name sign directing us to our glamping. - Unique Romantic Experiences: The outdoor hot bath (with provided salt) + bonfire (which the host kindly helped light) + inside fairy lights were highlights. Despite early clouds, the skies cleared for amazing stargazing. - Wildlife & Nature: We woke up to birds chirping and saw kangaroos in the morning, just as the hosts predicted on the card. - Thoughtful Amenities: A breakfast set was provided in the fridge; the orange juice was especially refreshing on a hot day.

Beautiful country town, clean and tidy.

Beautiful country town, clean and tidy. Close to other towns like mudgee and Rylstone Hotel provides great service and excellent food Town has a golf course tennis court and Beautiful local pool .

Kandos is community, spacious, bush time retreat with...

Kandos is community, spacious, bush time retreat with beautiful scenery, a swimming hole that is culturally significant and a wind down type of place in the hills. The shops have your basic needs, a chemist, IGA, pub with lovely entertainment with local friendly customers and a fire out in the courtyard, big TVs for sport and pizza place etc. I stayed in a unit called Bowers Crest that was more than comfortable.

Very pretty setting by the golf course. Gorgeous gardens. Clean renovated comfortable rooms. Great beds microwave and toaster. Plenty of places to.eat.Recommend a trip to Hill End, Rhylstone and Mudgee. Lovely helpful hotel owners. Rusty the dog is a hoot.

Lovely small country town with great op shops, a great...

Lovely small country town with great op shops, a great bakery & lovely cafe. Also has an IGA and petrol stations, if you need them. Meals at the Kandos hotel were delicious. It's a small town so you'd see everything in 1 day, but its just nice to take your time and just relax. Spend some tourist dollars in the town to keep it going.

Close proximity to my reason for the trip was good; lack of venue choices for an evening meal was disappointing. The after hours noise within the establishment resulted in my only staying for two of the three nights I booked.

Hotel rooms renovated to include ensuite making them very convenient, but being small room some imagination for simple hanging and storage space would improve. Attention to bathroom/shower cleaning and checking that towels and soap etc had been supplied would help. Apart Kandos is a lovely small town and community in a beautiful part of Australia, with some awesome motorcycling roads. Have traveled through many times and will continue to do so. Area has a lot of history.
