Set on one of the highest hills in the district, this gorgeous, comfortable cottage has expansive country views but is also an easy drive to some of the nicest little towns in the South Burnett region. One of the highlights was relaxing in the spa while watching the sunset and seeing the lightning flashes from a distant storm. We also loved the privacy and beautiful gardens which had an abundance of birds and wildlife. The hosts went out of their way to be helpful.

There's not a whole lot to do in Kingaroy but there is in...

There's not a whole lot to do in Kingaroy but there is in terms of the region. It makes a good base to visit Yarraman Bakery, Memerambi Springs Garden Centre, Goomeri Bakery, ride the rail trail and taste wines at Moffatdale. Plenty of good food and coffee options in Kingaroy...and the peanut van is a must!

Normally a busy town, but not at Easter!!

Normally a busy town, but not at Easter!! A good base for places like the Bunyas and other nearby places in the South Burnett - shopping is not a feature of Kingaroy - the essentials yes, but not much more (unless you want peanuts!)

Kingaroy was interesting.

Kingaroy was interesting. We really enjoyed the drive to Dalby over the Bunya ranges from Kingaroy. To see the Darling Downs from the Bunya ranges is amazing. If I were to do the trip again, I would probably just spend one night in Kingaroy and the next night in Dalby.

Barefoot Bowls at the Kingaroy Bowls Club was so much fun. Best Pizza's - Aussie's Pizza's Newly renovated Kingaroy Hotel Motel, great vibe. Commercial Hotel Kingaroy for Live Music. Best Food Platters from Peries IGA Kingaroy Deli to feed the crowd.

Beautiful town, lovely clean amenities and everything needed...

Beautiful town, lovely clean amenities and everything needed was very central. Parks beautifully maintained, clean streets and friendly people. Plenty of things to do and see. So easy to get around and parking is easy. Went to Baconfest and absolutely loved it. Will be back next year with all our friends.

We went for Baconfest and while we couldn't find any crispy bacon at the festival, there was plenty of other food, drink and entertainment. The Farmgate tour was great. If you like bushwalking, Boat Mountain is about an hour to the north and a lovely walk. We recommend this lovely little town.

The hotel far exceeded our expectations and was better than most hotels I’ve stayed at. The facilities were excellent and the bed was the comfiest I have ever slept on. I highly recommend to stay here.
