Very convenient location for our purpose of travel. We had the 3-bed unit which has no lounge area, but this wasn't an issue for us. Rooms were warm and beds very comfy. Bathroom dated but large and very clean so again no issue. Parking right at door. Great pub for dinner. Reception staff very helpful and happily booked table for dinner for us, definitely stay again.

We visit T'ba most years, usually for a few days and it never disappoints. It is beautiful to just drive around the streets of the CBD and also explore the old houses and/or the suburbs. The trees and parks are always a wonderful boon.

Love visiting my home town

Love visiting my home town Traffic, esp around cbd wasn't the best Pity I timed recent visit with inclement weather (though reminded me of my childhood 😊) Otherwise highly recommend Esp - Queens Park, Picnic Point (though, sadly, don't recommend cafe there), Mt Kynoch (for a fantastic view over city) Just driving around & taking in the uniquely beautiful tree lines streets & homes (esp as places like nearby Brisbane tearing so many of these types of homes down) If can afford (& like crowds & activities) a visit during Carnival of Flowers in September a must - otherwise just before or after a cheaper way to enjoy the beautiful gardens etc Plenty of buildings & lane ways around cbd filled with interesting murals Cafes near Queens Park offer gluten free options, as does Gluten free cafe near corner Margaret & Ruthvern Sts (on side of old Bailey's building) Otherwise finding a decent gluten free meal (without going to a restaurant) for an evening meal is difficult

Toowoomba is a beautiful area I grew up in from 11-16.

Toowoomba is a beautiful area I grew up in from 11-16. We had moved from Melbourne..so quite a culture shock back then! But Toowoomba is now a mini city. But it is different, because it has many many gardens/parks/lawns even! It is not called the Garden City for no reason. If you want to visit somewhere only just over an hours drive from Brisbane with all the same shops and equally as good coffee..go visit the Black Duck for the most amazing pastry you will have eaten in a while..expensive at $12 a piece, but well worth it for the experience taste and flavour..I hear the coffee is not too bad also😊(I’m a tea drinker)

Toowoomba is a very pretty, well maintained town. Breathtaking views from the viewing points, and a nice relaxed feel in town. Good selection of restaurants and a great social scene for live music, all within walking distance. Locals are very friendly. We will return for another visit.

It wouldn't be fair as I had no choice but to go there for medical reasons. I live in a small, friendly town so I find the noise, the traffic, homeless people in the Park opp the Hospital overwhelming. Would not go there for any other reason than we have no choice

Cherry Tree Cottage was a beautiful little house near to the CBD of Toowoomba. We were opposite a school but they weren't noisy for the couple of days before school holidays started. We loved the layout and decor of the cottage and the gesture of a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates. The bed was very comfortable and lovely and warm. The cottage warms up during the afternoon which is really good in winter. It was quiet at night so easy to sleep.

Potter's is my No. 1 choice when I stay in Toowoomba. I visit regularly & Potter's never disappoints - its standard is consistently high in every regard. The rooms are impecably clean, the decor is very tasteful & the beds are very comfortable! Staff are always welcoming & helpful. I feel safe when there by myself. Great restaurant & room service. Love the location, close to all my favourite places in the CBD.

The staff were welcoming, everything was easy, the rooms were spotless and everything you need was provided, kitchen items, sink, microwave, extremely comfortable beds! Air conditioning and ceiling fans - a favourite for me. It was a hotel where when I thought of something I needed - it was there - fabulous and I won’t stay anywhere else from now on when I visit Toowoomba.
