The Lake itself is big and lovely, it has many places all...

The Lake itself is big and lovely, it has many places all around it to enjoy with easy access and green grass. Perfect spots to see the sunset. The Park is clean and as it was winter pretty quiet. which suits me perfectly. I can imagine it being a hive of activity with water sports in the summer. There are also a lot of other lakes to see nearby, apart from some silo art and the Murray River not too far away, there is not much to do in town, suprisingly no cafes etc to speak of.

Nice place to go over and spend time during the sunrise and...

Nice place to go over and spend time during the sunrise and sunset. It is more of a nature place and we need to get food from the nearby place. Really easy to get around and all the roads show up on the maps.

Apart from the water for swimming, etc, there's only one...

Apart from the water for swimming, etc, there's only one real reason to visit Lake Boga and that's to visit the amazing Flying Boat Museum. We spent 2 hours there and if not for a demanding driving itinerary, we could've spent more. That's all there's worth seeing in L. Boga. BUT, please believe me ... that a good enough reason!

Lake Boga is a lovely getaway.

Lake Boga is a lovely getaway. The lake has a footpath/bike track around most of it. Great hotel over in town central together with the local milk bar for your lunch needs. Your little getaway is covered.

The park itself is lovely and on Lake Boga, accommodation is...

The park itself is lovely and on Lake Boga, accommodation is very clean. The park is on the highway and the semi trailers come through most of the night, unfortunately you can hear them very well. If that doesn't bother your sleep then it is worth staying here.

The lake view is lovely !

The lake view is lovely ! The room does not have a vanity basin or mirror in the bath room which is very inconvenient . Windows do not have fly screens which is awkward as bugs get in the room . Internet not reliable .
