There were three of us. The room was spacious: it looked more like an apartment with its own separate living room. Easy access to the building (we arrived very late at night). The hotel is located in the heart of beautiful Lismore.

Expect an older home with touches of elegance. Our bedroom was huge with a very comfortable bed with an adjoining spacious bathroom. Bedroom furniture commodious for spreading out our things. The breakfast area is welcoming and the pool is beyond comparisons--huge, pleasant temperature and just lovely.

What Guests Said About Lismore:

I love Lismore.

I love Lismore. Such a great cafe culture, especially The Bank Cafe, and dinner at 187 Cantina was outstanding! There’s a Woolies in town which is handy, Fundies for amazing organic groceries, food, etc, and the usual Chinese, Thai, Indian, Vietnamese and much more. What makes Lismore lovely is the people, so friendly, with that cool, hippy vibe.

I was there for the lantern parade. Lismore turned it on. All shops including art gallery were open til late The street stalls provided feasts fir the eyes and tge stomach. Parking was easy and plentiful. The vibe was happy and relaxed. The parade was 2nd to none. Best event I've been to in a long time.

Lismore is still recovering in oarts from dreadful floods of several years ago but the indomitable spirit of the community and the large country town feel of the "city" are probably symbolic of Australian medium size Regional centres. It's a very casual town but wants for nothing by way of service and facilities. There are several cultural experiences and museums that are worth a look.

Tired looking town allegedly known for cafe culture but we saw little to no evidence of that; was hoping to do a run along the riverside but river was murky and riverbank looked uninviting. Only positive was some lovely old stately buildings.

It felt right to spend a bit of money in Lismore because it was still reeling from the disastrous flood. It is very apparent that there is a strong community will to recover but it is also clearly a struggle.

Upon arrival, we were notified that both of our rooms had been upgraded to King suites free of charge which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were spotless and quite spacious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay in Lismore. The motel is central to everything you could need and in a great part of town. Honestly cannot recommend the Lismore Bounty Workers Club Motel enough. We cannot wait for our next trip to stay here again!

We loved that each room felt like its own unique space, it was very clean, modern, comfortable, and we really liked that there was a kitchen area as you don’t normally see that in hotels. The lady at reception checking us in was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location was very convenient. It was a short stay but we really enjoyed it.
