AustraliaOwners were exceptionally nice and welcoming. Annie makes a mean curry - delicious. Was accompanied by an ice-cold tap beer. The property is old and basic but clean and comfortable. Previous reviews on here must be by precious people with expectations that are way too high. It's cheap for a reason. But it's more than enough for a night or two.

I spent three nights there but was doing some family history...
I spent three nights there but was doing some family history research. A full day would have been enough to see everything. It was a very picturesque and nice little town. The museum was great, and the architecture extremely diverse.

We visited for the "Spirit of the Land" festival and it was...
We visited for the "Spirit of the Land" festival and it was wonderful. Considering the amount of rain that Lockhart had received during the night before the locals did a wonderful job of making their town very welcoming. The Sculptures were amazing.

This pub is a great little find!
This pub is a great little find! Nothing too fancy but good old down to earth hospitality, value and good times. This pub has great character. If you want 5 star this pub is not for you but if you want an outback experience that is fair dinkum this place is a little gem. Your hosts are very friendly and willing to please. I totally loved it and will remember this place for years to come. Good old fashioned hospitality with a smile!
