The best thing was the value for money. For a motel in Sydney suburbia, albeit outer suburbia, it is well priced. That's not to say the rooms weren't any good, they were very good, but there is quite a variation between different rooms. Rooms 11-14 are in a converted house next door and are quite different rooms to the main motel rooms, much more spacious for a start.

I believe the price for that rating hotel is great, for a solo trip as a rep, it's all you need, I was concerned about the bathroom facilities rating, but those people who gave it a bad rating must have thought it was a5 star rating hotel on a budget rate.

Stayed here to attend the Dawn Service in Martin Place on...

Stayed here to attend the Dawn Service in Martin Place on Anzac Day. Was heaps cheaper than the Ibis in Thornleigh. Has an Aldi, Coles, McDonald's and KFC nearby, as well as Westfield shopping centre in Hornsby. 5 minute drive to the local train station or roughly 10 - 15 to Hornsby. there's also a small club in Berowra.

The only real problem I had was finding the hotel and the narrow bathroom. It would be difficult for a large person to navigate. Parking was free and excellent. We were very please that we could have meals delivered to our room. Our stay was comfortable.

Very convenient to just about everything like Aldi not 5 minutes up the road and a McDonald's at Mt Colah as well as a Coles and KFC at Asquith. Hornsby train station is roughly a 10 to 15 minute drive away (south) and Mount Kuring-gai train station 5 minutes away (north). would highly recommend this motel for a short stay.

Needed a hotel in a particular area for 1 night only. Hotel is old but clean and price reflected this. Convenient location for what I needed. I would stay overnight again if needed.
