We used to live in Mundubbera 25 years ago and recently brought our friends to Mundubbera to show them where my husband grew up and where we spent the start of our marriage. We were all very impressed by the beautiful presentation of the town. The owners of the bakery and pub are to be commended for the amazing renovations they have made to their businesses.

Was only planned as an overnight trip.

Was only planned as an overnight trip. Wasn't impressed with the town but hey it's only for the evening and it was a Sunday afternoon when we arrived. Drove up to the main street to check for a place to eat as even though the motel was advertised as having a restaurant it didn't ( can't get a cook apparently and the reheat meals they offer weren't even available on a Sunday. The town had two dodgy looking pubs but given the " bar flies" hanging around them we didn't eat there.
