Apart from Lovely, clean and private accommodation at Lake Tyrrell motel., I became ill from Some unknown calls, and begin vomiting, and having a smashing headache and being very sick. The Lake Terrell cleaning lady After her shift, drove me in to town because I was on foot. She took me to the hospital. The people at the hospital were extraordinary. They took every test they could think of, got me a telly health doctor on video and medication. Then… Get this… The nurse drove me. Into town to my next destination that I needed to get too. I stayed in town near the hospital, then, at the pub, so I could be in town,. Because I was so ill, I could not move or go home, so I ended up in Christmas day alone in my room. The staff at the pub Heard about this, and arrived at my door with roast pork and meat and vegetables and pudding and wine from their own Christmas dinner. I couldn’t believe it. Walking around sea lake, you hear about friendly towns, but this is ridiculous… Each person I passed said g’day all waved. Other stopped me in the street and chat about where I come from. I went to the pool and had a beautiful swim in the pool was free. Although I was ill, I will remember see lake. It was beautiful.

Sea Lake is a small town with a wonderful pub (Excellent meal at The Royal) and a beautiful mural on the silos. The light show on the mural was below what was expected but that was our high expectation. The set up at Lake Tyrell is excellent though the corrugated road to the lake side facility was annoying. (surprised council does not maintain it since it is a prime tourist destination for the town). The sun rise and sunset views at Lake Tyrell were fabulous, but the dark sky experience is overrated due to bright light coming from the salt works across the lake and a glow coming from a town? to the east. Overall, worth a stopover.

Lake Tyrell was absolutely amazing - I’m sure you could visit everyday and see something different! Sea lake is a pretty little town with friendly locals and a great pub for meals. Green Lake is another little hidden gem in the area. Silo art was great - especially being lit up at night. Really enjoyed our time in Sea Lake.

Sea Lake tells a great story around life in the Wimmera Mallee. It has various things to see and do that are different from our normal daily lives but very enriching... these include the Silo Art (my main reason for visiting the area), a visit to Lake Tyrrell, or just walking around the streets and talking to locals and seeing and hearing about life in rural Victoria.

Loved staying so close to Lake Tyrell Love the projected stories on the Sea Lake Silo Art at night Be aware only the pub was open on Boxing day and we had to wait 1 1/2 hour for our meal but we were a captive audience. Some thing about take away orders at Green lake being 1st served?

For the price it was very comfortable, however the crockery wasn't clean and neither was some cutlery. On contacting the staff was told human error occurs occasionally. sorry that's not good enough. Sorry and we will do better would be appropriate. However everything else was ok.
