We had an amazing stay at Ulmarra, the host Sharon is so lovely, kind, and very helpful and thought about every detail. The photos don't do the property justice, it's an absolutely beautiful house and landscape. The house itself inside feels very comfortable but styled so well. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. We had a group of 10 people and we all fit very comfortably, there are multiple bathrooms and even a bathtub. There are kookaburras that visit regularly and birds too. Entertaining areas are spacious and plenty of seating. Great location just a short drive to the shops or brewery. There's also the private jetty which was a great addition!

Beautiful location. From the moment we arrived Tracy was so kind and welcoming. I really appreciate everything she did to make our stay even more enjoyable. The kids loved being near the water and seeing some kangaroos and pelicans. We will definitely be back.

Good Motel for its price. Room was clean with a TV, AC, Microwave, Mini Fridge and a water heater. Has its own car park. Location was also near Jervis bay beaches. Good value for money.

What Guests Said About Sussex Inlet:

Quiet retirement and holiday village.

Quiet retirement and holiday village. Very pretty place, especially for people who enjoy boating and fishing. Not much to do in winter, which is when we visited, but we went with the explicit goal of slowing down and doing very little.

The motel, RSL Club opposite the motel for dinner. The shops, the Pub around the corner in the evening great bands playing there the night we stayed. Friendlyness of the town folk in Sussex Inlet. The Markets on the Saturday were small but great.Plenty of eateries, great food from the many cafes.Perfect spot for a holiday.

So bad we didn't stay here.

So bad we didn't stay here. Absolutely disgusting & a misleading place. I have a complaint pending resolution. I am chasing a full refund cause I decided to book a hotel instead once I got to Sussex inlet and saw it with my own eyes. DO NOT bring a spouse here.

We loved our stay. It was clean and nice.

We loved our stay. It was clean and nice. They had a bbq in the common area, so we could cook some meat. As when we went there it was Christmas and all shops were closed. So this facility of bbq helped as to cook and eat.

The walk along the foreshore and down at the inlet mouth.

The walk along the foreshore and down at the inlet mouth. Some of the older buildings in the town. Had a steak and kidney pie at the cake shop (rare to find one nowadays and usually only in country towns) The rundown camp sites here and there are something I find endearing as a reminder of my boyhood and I treasure that mixture of new and old neat and disheveled accommodation and can cope with both as most towns are exactly that . The young and old together. I imagine holiday times are rather busy so I was fortunate to be there in a quiet spell so my opinion may have been different otherwise

Such a great value stay in a fabulous location in Sussex Inlet. I was only there for a night while visiting family but will definitely return. The park itself has all the facilities you'd need and you're only a stones throw to the waters edge. The cabin is well equipped, super clean and the shower and bed were both great.

The cabin we had had a full size kitchen, 2 bathrooms and view of the lagoon. There were kangaroos in the yard at night. The cabin would suit 2 couples. It’s a short drive to the village of Sussex Inlet and the local RSL has courtesy bus that will pick up and drop you off, you need to book this.

The apartment was beautiful and clean. It had a lot of space. The pool was clean and maintained. The location was very nice, right next to the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to our next stay at Haven Holiday Resort Sussex Inlet.

Great location for the Sussex Inlet Blues and Brews festival. Lovely big bed, clean modern bathroom. Loved being near to everything including the waterside walking track. If the festival is back next year we'll book in early!
