The location of our cabin right by the river was perfect. Very peaceful spot watching the fisherman, and kayak's floating by. I love the fact you can have your own fire pit right out the front of your cabin.

Yarck was a great little place to stop overnight while...

Yarck was a great little place to stop overnight while cycling the Great Victorian Rail Trail. We really enjoyed the Yarck Pub for dinner and Bucks Country Bakehouse for breakfast. It's a small town but a great place to soak up country atmosphere.

Quiet little town on Great Victorian Rail Trail .

Quiet little town on Great Victorian Rail Trail . Was good to break our biking journey . Had dinner at historical Yarck hotel . Very nicely renovated and food / service were good . In the morning had brunch at Yarck bucks bakehouse - amazingly busy and super popular venue . Amazing food Oh , ended up visiting a cemetery - it was actually very nice - up on the hill , some very old graves and lovely view totally justified our choice for a walk !!

Yarck is a very small country town, with a bakery, cafes, Koala Cherries, and Dindi Naturals. It's central location was perfect for exploring the area from Eildon, Rubicon Heritage area, Snobs Creek, Cathedral Range State Park, Merton and Yea. The area from Marysville through to Merton has so much to see and do.
