This is a small but adequate sized 1 bedroom apartment on the top floor of a nearly new home in a quiet residential subdivision. Comfortable queen bed. Decent bathroom with a good sized shower. Small living area with what appears to be a reasonably comfortable pull out couch/bed. Very basic kitchenette with a bar sized fridge and microwave. No stove. A few dishes and cutlery but not equipped for cooking. Heating is controlled only by the owners from the main floor level. Set at 22/day and 19/night. Owners respond well by messages but never met them.

Clean, quiet, spacious, close to the ferry and Gibsons, good communications with the host, kitchen had everything we needed. Spectacular views from all the rooms. We would definitely stay at the Blue House again.

Gibsons is one of those places that feels immediately easy.

Gibsons is one of those places that feels immediately easy. From a traveler’s perspective, it has the right mix of coastal beauty, walkability, and small town warmth. The waterfront is calm and inviting, the shops and cafés feel thoughtfully chosen rather than touristy, and the pace encourages you to slow down. That said, the hill between the harbour and the upper town is no joke. It is steep enough to earn respect, and oddly enough, it adds to the charm.

We were there for a wedding so spent time with family and friends . Nice location. I would have liked to hike more and explored Keats island more .salmon rock Keats islsnd was beautiful . You take take water taxi or local ferry there .

You can drive to IGA and Dollartree not far.

You can drive to IGA and Dollartree not far. We made our own food in our room but there is a few fast food places close, Tim Hortons and A&W. It’s worth driving up to Sechelt too. They had an excellent gelato in Gibson which had a bakery too, love it there.

Gibsons is a Beautiful, quaint little town, very good at...

Gibsons is a Beautiful, quaint little town, very good at hosting guests. With many lucky finds. A particularly lucky find was Grammas restaurant off the boardwalk. We missed the street entrance. As it was too small and sadly uninviting. The city could help this treasurer of a business by “resolving the issue of the adjacent space,” our server explained. Another lucky find was “reasons to live” book and record store. Follow the signs for a bit of a scavenger hunt for your lucky find in this well stocked store. Park for free and it’s an easy one street walk (more or less).

Gibsons is a quiet seaside community very close to Vancouver. In a scenic 45 minute ferry ride it's easy to get out of the city quickly. You can experience the laid back charm of Gibsons and the Sunshine Coast without having to go far. There's lots to do in the area for outdoor enthusiasts, foodies, art lovers, or those who just want to relax.

It's a small, quaint town. Easy to walk around. Lots of restaurants to eat at. We hiked in Soames Knob. Great view from the top. We also explored the Sunshine Coast and went to nearby Roberts Creek and Sechelt. Easy drive.

Public transportation brought me right across the street to the hotel. Check-in was easy. The room was very big, very comfortable, quiet, very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful in every way. Easy walk from the hotel to all the shops and restaurants, etc. in Lower Gibsons.
