Unfortunately- we arrived 10:30 pm. Opened the lock box and there were no keys to the condo. It was empty. So I phoned explained. The fellow tried to relocate us to another condo but it was for the next day. Good thing he called us back immediately. There is a one hour time difference. So he averted an uncomfortable situation had we entered the other condo as it was occupied. Thank you to him.

I love staying here when I am in Cranbrook. The staff respond quickly to requests and do their best to accommodate and usually do! Their housekeeping team is quick and I’m usually able to check in earlier, the front desk agent even called early one time and let me know it was ready before I even had to ask! Just amazing hospitality. It is right in the heart of downtown and accessible to everything incl. my favourite restaurant Sakura Sushi. Love that they have streaming service on their large TVs and newly renovated rooms with comfortable beds.

What an incredibly friendly town with a relaxed vibe.

What an incredibly friendly town with a relaxed vibe. We enjoyed the area waterfalls, lake, town walking Platzl with shops, and dining at the Baurenhaus. Sullivan's Pub was great, as was the Grist & Mash, and how lovely to see locals greet each other the entire time we were there.

This is my old hometown and I enjoyed refreshing the memories. Mostly I liked the people. Kimberley is in a beautiful setting and those who live there are kind and friendly. The Larix Hotel is a fabulous place to stay with outstanding decor and art to make the experience even more memorable!

It was great to be in the town I grew up in (my family moved...

It was great to be in the town I grew up in (my family moved shortly after I left home when I finished school). It is great to see the improvements since I left, makes me think of moving back. All of the town was walking distance from our accommodation, several small beer places, food services and enjoyable walks (all the servers for food and beer etc were very friendly. And live deer everywhere!! I was walking one morning and almost bumped into one, it still didn't take a step, just looked at me. Later another was so still I would have thought it was a statue. It is easy to get around walking, and when driving there are often two or more ways to get anywhere. I hope the road repairs have been completed next time I'm back.

wonderful place to visit in any season!

wonderful place to visit in any season! Walking around downtown and the Platzl was great. Only disappointment was most places closed Monday and Tuesdays. I do understand they need time off too but still disappointing.

One of the best stays I’ve ever had!! Great place and location, easy walk into town. Anja and Theo were both amazing and super hospitable! I enjoyed chatting with them in the mornings before breakfast. The breakfasts were next level! I would plan my mornings around the breakfasts as I refused to miss them! A plate of fresh fruit, omelette, and yogurt. Plus a wide variety of baked breads, loafs, and croissants! Also meat and cheese!

We stayed at this motel 2 years ago, last year it was unavailable during our time in Kimberley. This year I booked early to guarantee our stay. The owners are awesome, the property is meticulously maintained, super clean, had everything we needed and location is great. If we visit Kimberley again next year, this will be where we book.
