The house is beautiful and very well kept. It had everything we needed. Captain Dan checked in on us to make sure we were able to easily access the property and that everything was ok. The house is a short walking distance to Water St. and the attractions of St. Andrew's waterfront. We enjoyed our stay!

The host is very thoughtful and personable. He was knowledgeable about local attractions and restaurants. The 120 year old house has interesting furnishings. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and the attached bathroom convenient. Don prepared a sumptuous breakfast for us. The property is a 10 minute drive from the main street of St. Andrews. We liked that it was on a woodsy road, away from the touristy part of the peninsula.

What Guests Said About Saint Andrews:

Saint Andrews is a quaint little town.

Saint Andrews is a quaint little town. It is a seaside town, so expect overpriced shopping and most of the stores carry generic knick knacks. We went on the Jolly Breeze whale watching tour and we both said that was the highlight of our stay. We loved the setting of the town, the big trees, seaside, and also seeing the deer roaming the streets. It is quite a nice, quiet place to visit.

St Andrew’s is a hidden gem.

St Andrew’s is a hidden gem. From the wonderful restaurants to the live music the downtown businesses go out of their way to make you feel like a local. For breakfast check the Sea Breeze, for lunch, the Kennedy House and the Herring Pub. For dinner the Gables offers a beautiful view and a great menu. Getting around town is so easy. Most of the shop and restaurants are on the main street. There most beautiful garden just a short walk from the downtown with animals and a sculpture garden. It is a world-class, must see experience. Just up the hill from the gardens is a spectacular art gallery featuring the works of Oppenheimer and his daughter. The collection is immense and the house which serves as the gallery is a treat in itself. I met the owner who shared many interesting anecdotes and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Of course the water and views are amazing. Be sure to catch as many sunsets as possible. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The biggest surprise of our holiday.

The biggest surprise of our holiday. Charming, welcoming and magical. From watching the fishing boat come in to walking around the perimeter- there was something new at every corner. We even found a good cup of coffee for the first time in 2 weeks! Fish and chips at The Herring were delicious and the bar tender was most friendly and welcoming.

Saint Andrews has much to offer.

Saint Andrews has much to offer. Wonderful scenery, a wide variety of activities on land and water. Several historic sites and museums....A good representation of Loyalist life after 1785. We especially enjoyed the aquarium staffed by knowledgeable students. Most importantlly there are several outstanding dining options in addition to lobster rolls.

Very pretty town and the shop keepers and restaurants were extremely friendly. Impressed at how clean the centre of town was. The information centre was a big help in planning a route through NB to PEI. Next time we will plan a longer stay.

Must stay hotel!! My stay at Kennedy House will be a lifetime memorable experience, for me at least. Excellent location, cozy old architecture feel, wonderful staff, bar & restaurant in-house. Kennedy House is a great cozy place to stay for the travellers to town or whale watching 🐋. Reservation, check-in & check-out was easy. Best rooms, best bar & restaurant service and the recreation area. The staff were at their best. Pass my thanks again to all your staff. Cheers!!!

Lovely hotel with great atmosphere Comfortable lobby and seating around fireplace. Staff everyone of them so friendly. My particular enjoyment on a wintery few days was the lovely staff in the dining room Luila, Varun and Serhi. Breakfast with Luila was lovely so attentive. Front desk staff smiling and pleasing.

MY room overlooked the water and had a little balcony. It was excellent. The hotel is a little dated and could really use some updating but for one night it was fine Staff was veryfriendly and the location was excellent.
