Everything was clean and the room was spacious and quiet. The staff is friendly and the area around the hotel is really nice, you really get that Kashgar feel.

Staff - all excellent, helpful, and friendly. I speak mandarin as a second language and both the Han and Uighur staff went out of the way to make sure we understood each other. It’s a very relaxed place, far enough from the historic touristic downtown to be peaceful and close enough to taxi back-and-forth easily enough. The small but adequate room suited my needs, and I worked out her on a daily basis. The lobby offers complementary juices or long and quality coffee drinks from a state of the yard coffee maker. They complementary daily breakfast is quite acceptable, offering both Asian and western choices. I took on my dinners nightly at the restaurant. Very relaxed with good service and a first election both western and Eastern dishes. A piano player sings, soothing dinner, music. Later in the evening, it turns into a bit of a karaoke or a dance, depending upon the customers choice..

Such a special place to stay in Kashgar. Ella, the owner, is one of the kindest and most generous people we met . She helped us with absolutely everything — from local recommendations and transport information to explaining cultural details and helping us navigate daily life in Kashgar. Whatever we needed, she was always there with patience and warmth. There are not many accommodation options on Booking, but personally I didn’t want to stay in the Old Town tourist area. I wanted to experience a more authentic side of Kashgar and everyday local life, and Ella’s guesthouse was perfect for that. It is ideally located in a Charmin neighborhood where we spent hours simply walking around, observing daily life, interacting with people, and even becoming friends with some neighbors. As someone deeply interested in therapies, healing, and traditional practices, I also learned so much from Ella. She shared a lot about Chinese traditional medicine, herbs, natural healing approaches, and local knowledge — which made the experience even more meaningful for me personally. Some evenings became unforgettable moments where we cooked together — Chinese, Uzbek, and Uyghur dishes — and shared long meals, conversations, tea, and time together like a small family rather than guests and host. We initially booked only 4 days… and ended up staying for two weeks instead 😄 That probably says everything. Ella created such a warm, home-like atmosphere that leaving became genuinely difficult. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a more authentic, human, and memorable experience in Kashgar.

This facility is located in the old town of Kashi, and you can spend a whole day to explore the area that has plenty of restaurants, souvenir stores, tea houses, groceries, etc. The staff are helpful and friendly, and they are more than happy to assist you within their abilities.

Location, cleanliness . The host was so kind and welcoming. She gave us excellent tips for restaurants to try. We loved our stay!
