The view from the lodge is pretty spectacular, especially after dark when the stars come out. I'm hard pressed to remember anything like it from a sleeping quarter. It feels magical lying in bed and seeing this. There are flowers all around the place and you can have great walks in nature. We were 3 adults and a toddler. The size was perfect for us and you can even enjoy the view from the jacuzzi. The propriators were really friendly and flexible. Highly recommend.

All the meals at S Natura Birding and Photography were exceptional. We travelled in Costa Rica for 3 months. These were among the best meals we ate. Food is fresh, house-made, healthy, and delicious. It is also served by friendly and kind staff. Freddie's experience as a bird guide and photographer really frame the experience. He is exceptionally knowledgable, available for guiding and an excellent guide. All the staff were kind, friendly, helpful.

Beautiful area, quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful area, quiet and relaxing. Close to the Quetzales national park, but also walks from our accomadation. Would recomend the area if you like walking. The host at the accomadation brought us hot chocolate and cakes a very welcome surprise. Much appreciated.
