Bobo House has a vibrant yet simple atmosphere that is perfect for couples, travelers, and nature enthusiasts with an adventurous spirit. The house is close to the river and offers a furnished kitchen, a large living room, a parking space, and access to the gardens. A small grocery store is within walking distance, and Rivas has an ATM, supermarkets, a bakery, and anything else you might need. We do not accept pets on the land, so we encourage wildlife to visit and stay. It is a wonderful setting to relax and enjoy the starry nights or the misty sunrise over the mountains, bath in the fresh water, or meet the wildlife.
Welcome to our wildlife sanctuary, nestled in the lush mountains of the Chirripò Valley. I'm Davide, a musician and sound therapist as well as a dedicated gardener. My partner, Elisa, is a biologist and natural medicine practitioner specializing in medicinal plants and ethnobotany. Together, we want to foster a more authentic experience in Costa Rica, get off the tourist trail and support local projects while discovering hidden gems.
Nearby there are nature reserves, waterfalls, coffee farms, and great river spots. We can help you schedule trips and excursions, or simply book a taxi. Some nearby attractions include Chirripo National Park, Cloudbridge Reserve, Talamanca Reserve, The Alexander Skutch Bird Refuge, and Nauyaca Falls. A one-hour drive will take you to Dominical Beach and the Pacific Coast.
