The breakfast was lovely and the location was perfect. The fire on an evening was a lovely touch and just what was needed after being in the cold mountains! The staff were so attentive and helpful. United StatesOur family enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the New Helvetia. We did not realize until we arrived how unique the hotel is. The rich history is showcased in it's social areas that include a full bar, dining area, sitting area and gorgeous terrace overlooking the foothills of the Troodos. The space is full of vintage charm, but also included all the modern ammenities we needed (updated, clean and well eqipped bathroom), air-conditioning, and strong WIFI service. The staff was incredibly knowledgable, friendly and attentive. They truly seemed to love and take pride in this very special place. Go and enjoy!

I had seen reviews suggesting it needs updating but I feel like that would take something away from this Troodos Icon - one of its great attributes is its long history.
Forest Park has a nostalgic vibe that obviously keeps generations of families coming back together every year.
The staff was amazing! My adult son is special needs and the entire Forest Park team was unfailingly kind and helpful - The restaurant staff was incredibly friendly and the outdoor dining area was a wonderful way to end our days. We look forward to coming back soon!

You have all you need for your stay, including small kitchen with salt and pepper, coffee, tea, sugar, appliances etc. Plus a hairdryer, AC but also a second heater.
You also have a small courtyard in front where you coffee

A peaceful relaxing village with very friendly people, it's...
A peaceful relaxing village with very friendly people, it's a good base for seeing the mountain areas of Cyprus, including many wineries and not too far from the coast if you want a day by the sea.
Be prepared for the shortage of local shops and the fact that tavernas and the coffee shop are not open every day - take supplies with you.
Relax and enjoy.

We came just for one night and as it rained and was after...
We came just for one night and as it rained and was after 19:00 the local taverns were closing. We didn't have an opportunity to dine out. But the staff at the hotel was so helpful, they organised us dinner with cheese platter and ravioli in out room. It was so romantic. We enjoyed it. The village is small but because of the rain we didn't walk around. Hope next time we come it will be sunny.

It's a very pretty village - traditional with nice coffee...
It's a very pretty village - traditional with nice coffee shops and tavernas. However, it is quite hard going if you arent too fit / have disabilities and because it isn't in the top of troodos, it's still quite hot until about November time. It's a wine growing region so you could book a few vineyard trips - you will need a car for this.

A lovely Heritage village.
A lovely Heritage village. Vouni means little mountain and it lives up to it's name. The people are very nice and most speak English. There is still a strong feeling of traditional Cyprus here and they celebrate various festivals. The name day for Mary took place whilst I was there .. as important as Christmas and a Bank Holiday. The village got together for a night if singing which was very special to listen to. I was welcomed into several homes and given free coffee in the Kafeneion. I now regard the owner of the property as a friend and thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. I am already planning my return. You will need a car and be prepared to travel for an average 49 minutes but the roads are good, little traffic, low speed limits and the scenery is stunning.

Lovely hotel, very pretty village, beautiful views and a great place to explore. A beautiful room with a very large jacuzzi and wonderful staff. Could not be more helpful and a great range of gins. We had a wonderful time. Thank you, would recommend your hotel for that special occasion and also for wineries 🍷 Quite hilly so take your walking shoes

We booked a last minute getaway and Ble Mavi was just what we needed. Located in the heart of Vouni, this cosy studio is hosted superbly by Fedra and Giannis, who were the best hosts one could ask for. They catered for all our needs and made us feel right at home. Fedra's cooking is top notch! The studio itself is spotless, with a very comfortable bed and a bathroom with a walk in shower. The room is small but perfect for a weekend getaway, especially if you intend on exploring Vouni and the neighbouring villages.

Really unique room for a stay, super cosy with stone walls and floors, great place to hide away from the heat. Great location in the middle of vouni, bed was super comfortable. Service from the team was great all the way through. It’s important to note that this is not a big fancy hotel chain, this is a small business run by local people. I booked this because I wanted an authentic experience and I definitely got that, it felt like a home away from home.

The room was very nice, comfortable, and very clean, situated in a beautiful and very quiet village. The two Sri Lankan reception staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful. Special thanks to Ms. Liza, the hotel in-charge, who was always attentive, supportive, and ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible. The hotel is also a perfect choice for people looking for relaxation and tranquility.
