It is in the middle of the city. The hotel is super clean

We had the best sleep! Not only were the beds super comfy, the rooms so cosy and spacious, but it was also so nice and quiet. We also gpt a terrace facing the farmlands, going with a dog this is very much appreciated. The rooms were nice and warm, and the floor of the bathroom were nice and heated, it felt so good! There was plenty space outside to walk the dog, and also for parking the car. The cleaning crew was so friendly and they loved dogs, made us feel really welcome! We stayed here while we went to visit Colmar and Strasbourd for the Xmas market, just a 59 min drive away, totally worth it for such a restful night's sleep. Perfect value for money. Would love to come back.

the fence doors to the balcony in our room, the old world timber frame and decor. the smiling and happy greeting. we arrived just after the restaurant had closed and were still served- with a smile! the food was delicious.

Beautiful, peaceful view from my private terrace of a rushing river and high hills and trees. Large walk-in shower with rain shower head, beautifully illuminated throughout. Super clean throughout. Excellent breakfast that was very generous and high quality.

We stayed there for three nights. The staffs are very polite and friendly, the chief of the restaurant is also the owner, he made us coffee alone with delicious morning buffet, he even memorized our coffee order to the third day. They also gave us suggestions for attractions near by. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the Greek restaurant located in the garden of the hotel serves the best Greek cuisine I have ever had. Overall, there is nothing to complain about, only perks to praised.

Restaurant menu options were delicious, decoration, antiquities and art, old photos, flowers, smoked salmon and tee at breakfast, apple and pear trees, a cute cat, the windows of our room, garden, space with tables, bedroom space, surroundings and city, free tickets for transportation to freiburg, near good winery and cake stores, near Black forest hiking trails, beautiful scenery, peace and silence, sound of the river near the street, we could see stars, we found books about the region, reception and staff was friendly

Gorgeous setting, beautiful building with excellent restaurant.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay. Everything is managed perfectly and it’s super stress-free. Fresh and plentiful breakfasts, an afternoon reading in the garden with wine, lovely and delicious dinners, comfortable and quiet rooms all make it exceptional but the hosts are really what make the difference. They have mastered being available without being hovering. If we’re ever back in this area we know where we’ll be staying.

Lovely location and easy to park. We were warmly welcomed by a member of the staff, and we appreciated the tour of the property before entering our room. Great honesty bar and breakfast. The spa was also fantastic.

The hotel was a traditional architecture of german style, it was cosy, not crowded. The bed was the most comfortable I ever slept, it had a big balcony with a great view and you could relax in the chairs. In the morning you could hear birds singing and it was really quiet. The brakfast was amazing. 15 min from Freiburg, 1 hour from the airport, 1 hour from Colmar. We rented a car at the airport and it was a comfortable way of transport. The scenery of the black forest and all the villages nearby was stunning. The staff was great and helpful. The room was big and clean, it had all the comfort you could need and also a socket by the bed.

The creek side room is wonderful! Staffs are all nice. Great local to explore south Schwarzwald area!
