SpainBfast was sufficient with options. The room was comfortable. I could hear people in the next room but not a disturbance. Would have liked to have a bit nicer view but I think they give Booking.com bookings not the best views. The ambiance of the antiguo hotel is so lovely.

This area of Spain is just beautiful if you can travel the backroads. The landscape changes in amazing ways & it’s never boring. Spring is magnificent with the wildflowers and green. The storks are in their nests tending their young. Hardly anyone is on the back roads. A real treat and food for the soul.

Breathtaking views from and to the castle.
Breathtaking views from and to the castle. Not for nervous drivers as access is very steep and narrow (being a castle on a hill 🤷🏼♀️) Local bar/restaurant Venta de Carmen - (10 mins walk) great value and very friendly

Horse riding downhill exceeds expectations.
Dinner in the castle is really enjoyable.
Stay in the medieval house is a very interesting option for one max two nights due to the level of comfort modern peope are used to.

Great place, there is something really special about staying in a castle.
The views at sunset were amazing, and the following morning there was the most incredible display by the vultures wow, we won't forget this trip.

It was our 2nd stay here and again it did not disappoint.
We spent our honeymoon here on the first trip so the place is special to us.
Such a beautiful place in breathtaking surroundings.
My favourite bit is the view from the balcony,the best view ive ever had in a hotel or apartment.
2 nights of pure relaxation, fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook at home or beautiful restaurants a few yards away
The owner is super helpful.
We will definatly be going back it was amazing.

A nine bedroom hotel inside a 14th century castle on top of a high hill! What an experience. On a fine day the setting and views are incomparable.
Very interesting and very different rooms and very attentive staff, many of whom have been working there for twenty years.
The restaurant down the street belongs to the hotel and provides home style No local food at very no reasonable prices.
What an experience!!

Hotel location and surroundings are simply exceptional, out of town and in very quiet location. Room (and also bathroom) is very spacious and there was a very comfortable king size bed, which was nice surprise.

The location is amazing and the houses are beautifully traditional.
We ended up staying in the hotel itself so we had a phone signal, the staff were amazingly understanding and very helpful.
