We stayed to eat at the restaurant for supper and so glad we did. The food was outstanding. The staff took the time to ensure we understood the dishes. The owner takes great pride in his hotel and it shows. We enjoyed meeting him and appreciated how welcoming he was. Breakfast in the morning with a warm bun and ham that just melts in your mouth. Our one-night stay at Casa Rural El Vihuelo was wonderful. The room was clean and bright, and we enjoyed the lovely courtyard and spacious pool. The communal kitchen area was fantastic, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. The grounds were beautifully maintained, adding to the traditional Spanish charm of the place. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Ample parking and a short distance to a local shop made our stay convenient and enjoyable. It was a perfect retreat in a serene setting.

Very nice layout that reflects the charm of a Pueblo Blanco. I was met at check in and taken to my very nice room. I was given advice about parking and where to eat. I will recommend this hotel to anyone.

What can I say? This is our second visit to Tugasa Las Truchas this year, and we have completely fallen in love with both the hotel and the charming town of El Bosque. The hotel's staff are incredibly friendly and professional, making every guest feel welcome and at ease. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, with beds that ensure a restful night's sleep. One standout moment was when two of the hotel's ladies went above and beyond to help me break the lock on my luggage after I lost my keys—I am forever grateful for their assistance. The hotel's pool and terrace areas are perfect for relaxing, and the on-site parking is a convenient perk. The location of the hotel is fantastic, situated in such a tranquil and friendly place. If you're planning to visit El Bosque, don't just drive through; take the time to explore and enjoy this beautiful area. We will definitely be revisiting!

If you are looking for somewhere remote to escape and relax then this is it. Great views and walks all around. The pool area is lovely and well maintained. The room was a decent size, there is a large jacuzzi in the private garden area of the property as well as a bbq and a table and chairs. El Bosque is about a 20 drive from the location, the property is located about a ten minute drive from a main road you drive down a little track so a car is really required if you are planning on staying here.

The location is lovely, very quiet. They let motorbikes park in the back patio area and getting in is very straightforward. The bedroom was large and the bed comfortable. The shower was good and powerful and didn't soak the floor. The hotel has its own restaurant. It was shut my second day so I went to El Trucho hotel instead which was absolutely fantastic. Their food and service was exceptional. The WiFi was very strong.

Great location in El Bosque, which is situated in on the edge of a national park. The stay was great and I'd recommend giving it a shot if you are into hiking and more into the pure nature side of Andalucia, which is abundant there and without wifi you are more inclined to enjoy the other parts of life. Important. Antonio is helpful and the village has many places to eat and drink and relax.

Lovely “old school” hotel. Very nice decorated and a very good room with a balcony. Unfortunately we were the only guests for dinner - in a huge dining hall. Food in the restaurant was ok but not more.
