CanadaThe location is a perfect distance from the beach and the border to Gib. Our family of 3 (my husband, myself and our 9 year old daughter) was 100% satisfied with the hotel. Each of the staff members went above and beyond their job responsibilities to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The cleaning staff were helpful for restocking our things everyday and Patrick helped stow our luggage for the day while we waited for our ride and helped carry our luggage down the set of stairs. We stayed for a week and even though we moved around in between the rooms we were still happy at the end of our trip. Thank you all for everything. It is much appreciated.

MaltaWe found this ground floor apartment to be super convenient, practical and perfectly located near restaurants and bars. We also booked last minute as we were on a road trip - the host immediately provided us with a pin code to enter the premises. The place was fully equipped including a iron board. Glad we found this place highly recommended.

MoroccoIt was what I hoped for. In the marina with beautiful views. There was parking and it was safe location for a solo traveller being able to go in and out very easy. Restaurants was walking distance but you had the option to order at the facility ordering online and having food delivered. Very convenient and well organized. I loved it! Great views on Gibraltar.

Got to La Linea in time for their annual La Feria,which always occurs in 2nd week of July. It was a lively and exciting period of time, there was plenty of places to eat and drink, and the town boasts at least 2 to 3 squares which have great atmospheres, the beaches are simply amazing!

From Boat Haus there is easy access to Gibraltar. There are pavements to walk but if you are going in to Gibraltar with UK passport please be prepared for a wait . It took me 45 mins to pass through and same on way back , If you hold a EU passport less than 1 minute . Welcome to Brexit folks !!!!!!!

The beaches are good, although due to contamination from broken sewage pipes the Levante beach was out of bounds. It is a pity that there are so many places that have just been allowed to decay, due to the former owners emigrating.

I really like the city.
I really like the city. During the weekend on the streets were local markets. There are beaches very close to the city center. Very nice local streets, restaurants, bars, i really like small sqaures and small streets. Also people are very polite, still smilling. Not so many tourists during beginning of june. And still very close to the Gibraltar.

On first impressions it looks a drab sort of town, however...
On first impressions it looks a drab sort of town, however when you start to explore you will find the main plaza with numerous bars and restaurants.
Also there is the water front with some places along it. There is a huge park area the McDonalds side of La Linea, which is currently closed however looks like a lot of work is being done and should be amazing when it is finished.

Lovely town close to Gibraltar.
Lovely town close to Gibraltar. It was decent hotels, restaurants, beaches, good transport links, and a cute old town area.
I particularly liked La Casita (steak restaurant) and Tokyo Sushi Bar. The beach on the east (Playa del Castillo) was lovely with an amazing view of Gibraltar rock.

I stayed In this hotel for the first time almost exactly 9 years ago and now looks almost the same but older. However, it's well maintained and it's still the best hotel in La Línea.
Even though it's closed the main road it's quite and there's a nice view from some rooms (on Gibraltar and a sea).
It's 15 minutes walk from the city centre and 20 minutes from the boarder, but you can walk along the sea so it's a pleasant walk.
Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Carmen met us at the apartment on time and showed us everything about the apartment. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It was well decorated, too. A short walk to La Linea town center (9 min) and then another 10 mins to walk across the border to Gibraltar. There is a good pizza place called Nappoli close by, too.

It was located at the center of la Línea. There are many cafes, restaurants and shops, and not far from Gibraltar.
I stayed a room with shared bathroom, but the room also had a washstand.
It was a little cold and when I requested a blanket to a staff, he let me use a small heater. I was very grateful.
