Hotel Vasco Da Gama is a great place to stay, especially on the Camino! Location is perfect, everything is clean, great breakfast. But more than anything it is the service. If you stay, you will feel like family is taking care of you! If I could give it a higher rating I would!

The owner is incredible and this place was a perfect spot after a long day on the Camino!

It’s so nice to have such a genuine and humorous person at the front desk. Rob was a great host and made the stay very memorable. Great room with such comfortable beds and pillows and the bathroom amenities were excellent with the cold foot gel. Great place to rest up after the Camino and very close to the trail and facilities such as good restaurants, supermarkets and fruit shop. Good breakfast and great to have fridge and tea and coffee in the room. You can’t ask for anything else!! Excellent stay.

The beautiful location and garden. The grandeur of the hotel, the parlour and dining areas with views of the garden. What was truly outstanding was the kindness and caring of the owner and his daughter. Their passion and commitment is exceptional. They were attentive to their guests, while leading and teaching the others. Everyone we encountered was extra helpful. The breakfast was so delicious. The pastry was fabulous and the offerings included some Galician specialties I will never forget.

Clean rooms, great value, and wonderful staff. Coffee at breakfast was the best. We had the top floor 2nd level w nice view of beach. 15-minute walk to the center of town for restaurants. plenty of public parking on the street. Very safe area.

This was a nice hotel but a little to far off the Camino path! Staff was nice and helpful and kept the cafeteria and restaurant open for us to eat! They also help us with a taxi in the morning to get back to our coastal route.

Historical building with a completely modern interior. Room was very clean and comfortable. Jose and staff are friendly and helpful! So nice we stayed an extra night!

Excellent location and very clean

It was very well located near the Camino and to everything we needed close by, market, coffee shop. It also had a hot water maker in the room for tea and a nice large bathroom. The bed was also very comfortable.
