What a wonderful house, right in the center of the beautiful village of Chedigny, a true flower village. The village exceeded our expectations, it was charming, without being crowded or over developed. The house was very comfortable, with lots of space, two bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. Contrary to some reviews, it is easy to find: directly opposite to the marie, through a small gate and down a short alleyway. There is a nice, shaded garden, with BBQ facilities.

We stayed in this hotel in May 24 when cycling to the Nice. We liked it so much we wanted to return and we did so in July 24. We were two people and a medium dog and we were given an room in the attic. It was simply too small and unsuitable. I made a "move" request to reception and we were moved to a larger room at no extra cost. Thank you. When making a booking online maybe booking.com should flag that the room is an attic room. The hotel was the old Palace de Justice that was repurposed/refurbished in 2019 and it is magnificent. The town has some good restaurants and well worth exploring. Market day on certain Saturdays during the summer, worth checking if they are weekly or monthly Saturday market days.

Large room with large balcony. Bed and pillows very good quality. Having a nice bedroom is a thing but what you are looking for is a good sleep like home. The breakfast buffet was amazing 🤩 and it was very very clean.

A beautiful, sleepy village, virtually free of cars and full of wonderful plants. There is a great little shop on the outskirts selling items made by local artisans. Looked after by Valentin, a delightful young man who was so knowledgeable about all the products on sale. Make sure you book dinner at Le Clos aux Roses, it’s a treat not to be missed.

Chedigny is a small village away from Amboise, but worth...

Chedigny is a small village away from Amboise, but worth staying instead of staying in Amboise. The main street of the village was temporarily blocked for traffic when we visited mid May to allow pedestrians to enjoy walking the streets of the old village where the front of the houses are turned into little gardens with a bounty of flowers while also some of the facades are covered in rose bushes that have been growing up along the facades over the years.
