This apartment is actually more spacious and even more charming than the pictures indicate! It is in the absolute perfect location, looking over the plaza in the old town, in a historic building, and tastefully decorated with cute antique furniture. Cordes-sur-ciel is a magical place, and this apartment was the perfect place to experience it from.

This was our 2nd stay at D'Ici et D'Ailleurs. We were here 5 years ago and enjoyed it so much that we came to Cordes-Sur-Ciel, specifically to stay here. The proprietor is so accommodating and the property is so thoughtfully and immaculately decorated. Additionally, the rooms are unique and comfortable with such interesting decor. If the weather is clear, a wonderful breakfast is served on the balcony with it's beautiful views and lovely garden created by the owner. If it's not great out, breakfast is served downstairs in the cellar area which could serve as a wonderful lounge and cafe it is so lovely and unique. Access is up a little cobblestone street that can be a little challenging if you have mobility issues, but it is well worth the visit. And there is free parking for guests which is a bonus. We will return!

Possibly the most beautiful village I have ever visited.

Possibly the most beautiful village I have ever visited. The medieval centre is amazing with plenty of boutique shops and a good choice of restaurants. The more modern part of the village is also charming. It is perfect for a couple of days & also close to other places to explore with a car.

Like a smaller Mont St Michel rising from the green fields all around. The cobbled streets and old houses are fascinating and there are many beautiful and exceptional craft shops for ceramics, leather goods and gorgeous jewellery. Also available to buy, fantastic cheese, wine, pates and saucissonThe amazing market 'square' with it's amazing roof and pillars is fabulous. The Office de Tourisme is in a lovely building and staff were very helpful. We visited in mid-September and found that a great many of the restaurants and cafes were shut in the evening -- so make sure you eat out at lunchtime!

Beautiful unspoilt village on top of a ridge between two valleys. Dates to the 11th century with narrow steep cobbletone roads and tracks. Some nice little restaurants, hotels and craft shops. Well worth a visit if you are near Toulouse or Albi.

The owner's cooked a special Dinner for us, which was excellent! We felt like we were family rather than guests. The ambiance was magical. it is a beautifully restored building and the restoration has been done in keeping with the period. The pictures don't do it justice.

It’s a fairytale village. Charming and quaint.

It’s a fairytale village. Charming and quaint. Not much to do and that’s the charm of the village. Sunday and Monday are not the best days to visit, especially Monday because everything is shut. Take a small hike up to the view point and look at the village (Point De Vue) I had the best local sausage made of foie gras for lunch at Michel Monteil. The village has almond cookies named after itself (Croquants De Cordes).

A lovely town. A shame the weather wasn't great.

A lovely town. A shame the weather wasn't great. Limited places to eat in the evening when we were there, we ate in a local wine bar on both nights, and that was lovely. I think July and August would not be a good time to visit due to the volume of visitors.

The property is stunning and being just outside of Cordes-sur-Ciel means it is both relaxing and out of the way, but close enough to the Medieval towns to keep you busy with things to do and places to see. The breakfast was perfect, the pool is well kept and ideal for when the weather is nice. Both Patricia and Phillipe were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home.

Beautiful original guest house. Perfect location for exploring Cordes-Sur-Ciel. We received a very warm welcome. Wonderful evening meal (there was a vegetarian option and the chef was happy to adapt meals to our needs). Breakfast was perfect and included home made yoghurt and freshly squeezed orange juice. We would love to return.

We had a great two nights at La Maison au Puits. The highlight was the dinner, it was a really unique experience with exceptional food. The accommodation was a great base for exploring Cordes-Sur-Ciel and the local area. Highly recommend.

The sleeping arrangements were excellent. We had two bedrooms and a bathroom in a self-contained suite within the hotel. Beautiful view overlooking the covered market in the main square. And a very kind patron running the place.
