What an absolute gem - truly wonderful hotel with the a friendly team and amazing kitchens. A warm, welcoming and truly indulgent stay with lots of kind and thoughtful touches. We had a fabulous room with great views on one side to the hills and on the other to the lovely courtyard. Dinner and local wines were both superb, and breakfast was truly amazing - one of the best ever! This place is perhaps not close to a big centre, but is more than worth your while to seek it out. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful old building but well renovated with modern...

Beautiful old building but well renovated with modern touches throughout. Lovely pool, peaceful area but steeped in history, from the monastery, the church, the local village and local vineyards. Great restaurant to boot!

A totally amazing hotel that's well worth a visit.

A totally amazing hotel that's well worth a visit. The monastery has obviously been renovated and converted to a high standard with passion as well as compassion. The tasting menu was vast, with many unexpected additions, and well worth trying (wit wine!) The rooms were pristine in all ways, cleanliness, facilities and amenities. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and attentive. The only snag we could find is for someone who wouldn't appreciate croissants and pastries for breakfast, maybe an option could be available.
