Everything! We booked in for 1 night whilst cycling the coast & castles route last year and liked it so much we booked in to stay over Easter and had a great stay again. The place is immediately clean. The kitchen facilities are first rate. The communal lounge is kitted out with Barker & Stonehouse'esk furniture. The views from the lounge window overlooking the harbour and Bay aren't too shabby either. The owner is super nice and really helpful.

Location amazing. Ton of cute restaurants. Very close to the town. Excellent host. Really spacious house with a lot of back garden space, very comfortable beds, tons of towels and loved having the convenience of the washer and dryer there too. Would definitely request to stay there again if we return to the area in the future.

Lovely quiet fishing village/town with amazing scenic views.

Lovely quiet fishing village/town with amazing scenic views. And fun crabbing. Just be aware the boats don’t always dock at the platform there’s a big step onto them down ladders- something to note before booking any trips. Seafood not as abundant as expected lobster not on any menus locally despite the catches there. Did expect more seafood about as I’m a big lover of it. Easy to get around although avoid the haunted musuem it was as expected fake and staff were rude even if it is free entry. Nothing is haunted about the place it’s just been filled with charity shop finds or donations. Pizza place opposite was amazing.

We came for 1 night to take the 1 hour non-landing boat trip...

We came for 1 night to take the 1 hour non-landing boat trip to RSPB Coquet Island. We also visited Warkworth Castle which we thought was really excellent and needs 2-3 hours to explore properly. The Harbour Inn was good (see separate review). That's about it for Amble.

sitting watching the world go by 0n the harbour, fantastic pubs plenty of fantastic places to eat in town centre and especially the harbour. great Sunday market boat trips are amazing and the little pod shops are superb for gifts and more

Everything you need in a sea side harbour town.

Everything you need in a sea side harbour town. Plenty of places to eat, we enjoyed the Taj Mahal, Radcliffes and the Amble Inn who catered to our gluten free needs. Friendly bars, lively pubs like the Wellwood Inn and the Cock and Bull and walks around the harbour and estuary, particularly on the very busy Sunday market.

The restaurants on the sea front were exceptional, the harbour fish & chip shop was very good also. The little hut shops on the sea front were very good & not expensive. lovely clean beaches. The ice creams were beautiful ! Alnwick gardens were very poor & over priced. The Taj mahal Indian was poor.

Gorgeous little village and I would recommend the trip to see the puffins and seals on an evening trip Was amazing.Great value for money Good selection of restaurants JASPERS was fantastic Great little bistro staff amazing and could even take my dog Food was such a lovely experience Lots of other great villages and fantastic beaches to explore nearby with pubs or cafes to get a coffee or lunch Never been to this area before but I could have got up and moved instantly absolutely loved it💕
