I can’t say enough on the hotel and especially the wonderful staff. We booked last minute and it was the best choice ever, we walked the quiet streets to the castle before dinner which I can say have never had better roast beef highly recommend the restaurant as all the food and drink were amazing, we then went out to the beach and castle tour the next day ( all walking distance)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Beach House in Seahouses! The location is perfect, with stunning views that made every morning special. The place was impeccably clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was fantastic—every meal was a delight—and the large, comfortable bed ensured we had a great night’s sleep after exploring the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend The Beach House to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway by the sea.

A lovely little town, so dog friendly too? Beautiful beach to relax on and a fantastic castle to visit. There are many more lovely beaches and towns to visit along the coast too. An ideal area for a stay cation?

Lovely small village with decent facilities, including...

Lovely small village with decent facilities, including public toilets, essential for casual visitors. A visit to the castle is a must for newcomers and the Grace Darling museum gives a good insight to one of the legends of the area. A walk, or drive down the "wynds" to either of the unsurfaced free carparks gives fairly easy access the the super beach and super views of the castle setting.

We really enjoyed its proximity to Lindisfarne.

We really enjoyed its proximity to Lindisfarne. One of the highlights of our holiday was leaving the car at the cottage and taking the footpath through woods and farmland to Budle Bay and then along the coastal path and beach to Bamburgh. Only downside to this is that the route of the paths isn't always clear but more than made for by the stunning scenery. We wish we had discovered how lovely Northumberland is years ago.

The village has three great pubs and and a first class...

The village has three great pubs and and a first class seafood restaurant. My favourite was the "Lord Crewe" which is very classy. Carters butchers and delicatessan are excellant as were the coffee shop and the pantry. The castle, overlooking the crocquet green on one side and the sand hills and the sea on the others, is incredible and dominates the village and is a fascinating visit

Bamburgh is beautiful.

Bamburgh is beautiful. It gives easy access to a beautiful white sanded beach and is well placed for exploring Northumberland. Good selection of places to eat and drink. Unfortunately everybody is “catching on”. Northumberland is much busier than it used to be. The Hairy Bikers and Robson Green have shown what an amazing place it is.

While a longer stay would have been welcome, Bamburgh itself...

While a longer stay would have been welcome, Bamburgh itself is only small and there isn't a lot in the village, other than the hotels, pubs and cafes. That said, there is plenty to see in the surrounding area and lovely beaches to walk along and it is unspoilt, which is really nice. I think a two-day visit for Bamburgh itself would be about right, but it could be used as a base for the area.

Really nice hotel with excellent breakfast options and fantastic staff. Location was great. Everything in Bamburgh within walking distance and it was a great base to explore the local area. Good sized carpark 100m away with a barrier. Room was clean and comfortable, with a visit from housekeeping daily. Good selection of drinks behind the bar and the evening food was also good.

The staff were exceptional- they couldn’t have been better - a big thanks to Alison who really looked after us! The hotel is well located really well, next to all the amenities Bamburgh has to offer. It was spotless, with updated facilities and great value for money. Highly recommend!
