I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years and this was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The extra amenities in the room, the space and the service was incredible. We requested a few things to our room and it was brought swiftly on a sliver platter. We had a few extra requests and they were accommodated if possible by the hotel. I would recommend, it was very clean and comfortable! 5*

We went for a room with a spa pool. It was lovely to put the baby to bed and chill out in the spa in the evening. We loved the breakfast in the conservatory every day. The staff were absolutely lovely and accomodating.

FAQs about hotels in Bath

Roman Ruins and Georgian Grandeur

Wonderful, World Heritage site Bath is an impressive mix of Georgian architecture and Roman legacy. Its most famous landmark is the fantastic, natural hot spring Roman Baths. Although everything above the pillar bases is from a later period, you still get an idea of its appearance in Roman times. Sadly you can’t bathe here, but across the street the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa offers views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills.

Check out the stained-glass windows in the abbey, England’s last remaining Gothic church. Its square houses Pump Rooms dispensing hot spring water from the Roman baths.

Just behind, the Parade Gardens by the Avon River overlook Bath Rugby Club, the multi-level Pulteney Weir and registered historic Pulteney Bridge, lined with shops. Other Bath shopping options include Southgate Shopping Centre, the bohemian Walcot Street market, and brand-name stores on Milsom and George streets.

North is The Circus, a circular square lined with Georgian townhouses, only marginally less impressive than the Royal Crescent down the road. You can now visit number 1 Royal Crescent, restored to its 18th-century glory.

Before heading to Bristol Airport from your Bath hotel, take time to try the famous Sally Lunn Bun and stop at the pleasant pubs along the Kennet and Avon Canal.

City was very iteresting architecture not as detailed as i would have expected.restaraunts and bars very small and limited hours and availability. one restaraunt advertising the best breakfast in Bath which as only serving around a dozen people seemed surprised that people ordered food and quoted 26 to 35 minutes wait for a sandwich :-(

Definitely worth visiting Roman Baths and Pulteney Bridge. High Street shopping was also nice and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Art gallery was a really nice break in day as well. Definitely try these places to eat: Mokoko Bakery, Society Cafe, the giggling squid and Thai Balcony.

The Roman baths were well worth the money and the city was full of interesting history.A bustling township but slso tranquil down by the river and in the parks. The Georgian buildings reminded us of Jane Austen productions and her novels so visiting the Jane Austen museum was a must. Ate at the Saracen pub where Charles Dickens lived and wrote the Pickwick papers We took a day trip to Oxford and the Cotswolds which extended our knowledge of the wider area.

Beautiful city particularly if you like Georgian/Regency architecture. We particularly loved visiting the Jane Austen centre where you can hear all about Jane's life, dress up in Regency costume and enjoy the museum. Also visited Royal Crescent and No 1 Royal Crescent where the house has been put back to Georgian times; Priory Park; the Roman Baths and art galleries. Wide variety of restaurants to choose from - we particularly enjoyed the Italian restaurants and Spanish tapas one; and the Real Italian ice-cream shop. Easy to get around without a car using the hop-on and off sightseeing bus to see the main sites.

We stayed in a double room with a garden view, and it was absolutely wonderful. The view was stunning, overlooking the entire city. The room was clean, the bathroom was spotless, and all necessary toiletries were provided in sufficient quantity. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself felt very cosy, and the location is extremely convenient. You can easily walk to the city centre and all the main attractions. It was also very quiet and comfortable throughout our stay.

The hotel is easy to find and perfectly situated for a visit of Bath's main attractions. The room was really well-sized. The air conditioning worked well, however I would have liked to open the balcony door, as I like fresh air in the night. This wasn't possible, but also the only thing I can critique. We came early enough to find a parking space, which was very helpful and walked a few minutes down to Bath city centre. The rest of the stay was perfect.

The rooms were really clean, had great air conditioning and lighting. It was well equipped and in Bath city centre meaning it was close to all shops and attractions in the city. Considering the area and the conditions of the hotel, I would even dare to say that it’s even cheaper than you would think. The staff was friendly and quick to resolve any issue.
