The rooms were large and well kept. The breakfast was great and most of all the staff were fantastic. Every single one of them were friendly and so helpful. They are a credit to this hotel. There is a bar in the evenings and a cafe and I have to say this hotel is excellent value for money.

I stayed in the large room and it was so cosy. Comfortable bed. 7 min walk to the city centre. Fabulous.

The hotel was in the center if everything we needed ie shops,venues,takeaways and train station and the staff were really lovely people both in the hotel and the pub would definitely stay again

Great to find a good independant hotel these days, so few are left with the chains having taken over much of the sector. The Corbett arms was a refreshing change, the room was very clean, tidy, modern, well appointed and spacious, the staff were all very helpful and the food was very nice and reaosnably priced. Location by the riverside is very nice, with a car park, we did not venture into town as only staying one night on our way somewhere else and arrived quite late, but I think the town is within walking distance. Seemed popular with locals for food / drink which is always a good sign.

This is a hotel full of character in a fantastic location. Parking was off site, but only a short walk away. There was plenty of choice at breakfast. I had previously read the book about how the staff cared for the homeless during Covid, so was keen to see the hotel for myself. I would highly recommend staying at the Prince Rupert Hotel.

Amazing location, wonderful views over the river Severn. lovely private cosy room and bathroom. Great food and lovely staff. Dinner on the terrace was a delight that we enjoyed 3 times which wasn't our plan before we arrived
