We loved this house! Absolutely spotless ( probably the cleanest holiday home we have ever been in) with great attention to detail - it had everything we needed for a really pleasant two night stay. The road was peaceful and it has a nice secluded garden as well which was a nice surprise. It was comfortable and everything felt new and fresh. We were greeted with a welcome pack on arrival which was nice. It was handy having a driveway and an extra toilet downstairs .We stayed here because we were attending a wedding at the nearby Quex Park - we were able to walk home at midnight which was ideal. Rossetti Retreat represents good value for money compared to other accommodation in the area and is obviously well loved by the owners. Highly recommended.

Birchington has a lovely little high street.

Birchington has a lovely little high street. It has a local butcher, green grocer, bakery and lots of charity shops and cafes to peruse and people watch from. Has supermarkets as well to allow you to pick up any essentials. The Minnis Bay Fish and Chip shop cook to order and offers delicious fish. There is a monthly market on the green too. There are beach huts on Minnis Bay that can be hired for families that want a day at the beach. I love Birchington and highly recommend a visit.

Had a night at The Old Coach House and being an experienced...

Had a night at The Old Coach House and being an experienced BnB guy I have to say this Fab place is exceptional and Great Value for money,Tim is a very welcoming guy and his little dog Louis I found a cute addition . Nice Continental breakfast in the morning and the whole place spotlessly clean,will definitely be staying again,Great place and location

Birchington is a little old worldly but has everything you need and the local people are friendly and helpful.The beach at minnis bay seems to go for ever and is sandy and is dog friendly for a good part of the year well worth a visit,

Birchington is a little gem in the heart of Thanet coastline...

Birchington is a little gem in the heart of Thanet coastline. Wider shops for all your needs and interests with a short drive to the beach where you can sit and have a coffee and something to eat with your dogs at your side and people who genuinely welcome you and are friendly and very helpful.

tranquility..peacefulness ...no loud music should be allowed at pods ... Well set out ...lovely setting. Clean staff friendly helpful. Restaurant and shows were good...shop and restaurant could open earlier ..8am. Families with kids . review from the kids...expand kiddies playpark and add more slides if possible ...

I was visiting family and friends but there is plenty to do...

I was visiting family and friends but there is plenty to do if it is purely a holiday. Public transport is good to all areas. Broadstairs is nearby and has many eating places, Minnie Bay in Birchington has seafront restaurant and bar. There is shopping at Westwood Cross, numerous takeaway options with delivery, best fish and chips at Fishbone Grill just as you come into Birchington. There are many beaches around the coast but do check which ones have doggie restrictions from May . RAF museum is worth a visit as is the spitfire museum. Eating places there too.

We only liked going to Broadstairs via cab as the Birchington Vale Holiday Park where we stayed at camping pod felt like we were staying on a building site and looked more like a council estate resort park!! So our places of interest into town and the beaches in Broadstairs, Ramsgate, and Westgate were more welcoming and interesting to visit and see than the resort we were sadly staying at!!

Second visit in a few weeks. Lovely accommodation, comfy beds quiet and private. Fantastic breakfasts in the Farm Shop restaurant, staff were lovely. Walking distance in to Birchington for a good pub and eating place and a few shops. Good bus route in to Margate or Canterbury so didn’t need to move the car for a couple of days. Will definitely return.

The rooms have everything you need, are. Good size and are truly decorated beautifully to the highest standards. It’s conveniently placed in the heart of Birchington, the staff and very friendly and there is a lovely pub atmosphere in the bar downstairs.

Nice clean and comfortable room,lovely views of the bay,nice walks and easy walk to Birchington Station and town centre. Very easy to travel by train and no more expensive than paying car park charges. First visit to Kent, will defo came again.
