Lovely room, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Staff really helpful & offered us a lift when the taxi company let us down..

The facilities are excellent, clean, comfortable and I was travelling with my service dog so they provided treats, a bed and bowls for her. Beautiful views of the Ribble Valley and the whole hotel was decorated nicely and comfortable.

Food excellent and staff exceptional

All the staff were very friendly, room was spacious with everything you need and I was especially happy that the heating was still on when so many other hotels already turned it off. :) There was also a great coffee shop nearby!

The host was a lovely man, very warm, welcoming and helpful. It is a budget hotel but it was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower worked well - what more do you need? The location is very central, less than a ten minute walk to the station and in the midst of all the shops. Excellent value for money.

Delicious food and peaceful stay The on-site restaurant is excellent — we had the mixed meat platter for two and it was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is located by the road, but at night there’s very little traffic, and most rooms face the quiet side of the property, so it’s very peaceful. The air is incredibly fresh, and the hosts are extremely polite and welcoming. Highly recommended!

That it was a building built in the 1900s but had been modernized. Beautiful property.

Lovely hotel, staff were very attentive

The bed was so comfortable! Best nights sleep id had in such a long time. The staff were so happy and helpful, couldn't do more for us. Traveling with our dogs too, even they were made a fuss of. They received a welcome pack with treats, balls and poo bags! All the cuddles and all the fuss. The hotel itself looks fantastic! Everywhere you look there's something pretty to look at. Would defo visit again.

Staff we're extremely accomodating and even cooked me a breakfast earlier than the set breakfast times. Absolutely lovely grounds, simple but clean and comfortable room
