The harbour is picturesque, the shops and refreshment houses were all spotless and victuals were tasty and of good value. We ate at the Bridge Cafe, and the Cobweb Inn, both were very good and recommended.

I have enjoyed the scenery very much, loved the opportunities for photography. Love the National trust shop and cafe’ Pitty most shops were closed, such a shame the witchcraft museum was closed as there were still plenty of visitors around.

Stunning little village with a slightly dark but beautiful history. Very walkable with endless opportunity for strolling and hiking, whether it's a wander down the harbour, a coastal hike up to the lighthouse, or a bit of a rock climb up to Warren Point. The village is clean and tidy with all the essentials including a convenience store, tourist shop, a few pubs and eateries, and a few small museums and galleries. Plenty of parking at a reasonable rate. Absolutely worth a visit for a peaceful escape.

Always a great place to get away, The village is better in the morning and evening before and after the main mass of visitors are in Boscastle. A walk at dusk down to where the river and sea meet by the YH is very tranquil and picturesque as the lights come on in the village. Always enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside from Boscastle, out to Willapark with the white 'castle' lookout tower via the church on Forrabury Hill, or Penally Point on the other side of the harbour. For those wanting to venture further afield the South West Costal Path runs through the village. While out walking, around low tide walk along the left side of the harbour (looking seaward) to just beyond the harbour wall to watch the Devil’s Bellows blowhole. The Witchcraft museum is interesting and worth a visit. The Cobweb serves a hearty meal, The Riverside for more refined dining, also consider the Wellington Hotel. For less to eat, a choice of places selling the ubiquitous Cornish Pasty and sandwiches. Enjoy your visit.

There was nothing not too like. The location was gorgeous, so peaceful. The view is one I would never tire of. High spec and tastefully decorated cottage. The bathroom tiles 😍Very well equipped. Spotlessly clean. The bed so so comfortable. I usually find beds are too hard but this was great for me. The scones, jam and clotted cream were delicious. Boscastle is stunning. Ten minutes up the road you must visit St Nectan’s waterfall. Not an easy walk for some but wow.

Loved the location, right in the centre of Boscastle and close to the Cobweb Inn which is a great pub. The cottage itself was fine but just note that the entrance is essentially half a doors width which was fine for us but may be an issue for others. The cottage had really good heating and didn't lack for anything.
