Breakfast was very enjoyable, prepared by Sean in a timely and friendly way. Location for a birdwatching holiday was excellent, most of the species you associate with Suffolk coastal heaths are here instead; nightingales at Maids Cross Hill (saw one singing, requires perseverance), nightjars displaying and making their famous churring song on Brandon Heath and stone curlews at Weeting Heath (check also the field on the other side of the road). Didn't have to spend much on petrol once here. Able to do some birding, then nip back to have a quick bite to eat and off again was a format that worked well for me. Booked a dinner on my day of arrival which I enjoyed.

I've already done a review, yesterday.

I've already done a review, yesterday. But feel the management need to address the issues. I was told I'd be happy with our room, but not told is was road side, so got little sleep! Shower almost scalded me, hard to adjust. Bed comfy, but in need of upgrade ( around base) food ok, but chef was dirty ( clothes) & rude. Breakfast was ok, but plates were cold!! Should always be hot, with hot food. The whole place needs cleaning, not just fitting new bathrooms!

There were plenty of places to eat with differing cuisines.

There were plenty of places to eat with differing cuisines. We tried Azure restaurant at the back of the associated chip chop and were amazed at the quality of food for the price- just beware the portions are generous.

Small town, locals can be a bit rowdy.

Small town, locals can be a bit rowdy. Pubs are okay-ish and other places to eat. Great location in the breks, planty of places to get outdoors but be aware of the noisy jets from RAF Lakenheath - your 8am alarm call!

We only used Brandon as an overnight stay to play golf in nearby Thetford. I have worked around this are in the past and the accommodation and location are an excellent base to visit local sights and places

We booked our room in order to visit attractions in nearby towns. The local people whom we met were very friendly, helpful and entertaining. We only spent the evenings in Brandon itself but we found it a pleasant town with ample pubs and food outlets available. I would certainly recommend a stay in Brandon as a centre for exploring this lovely part of the country.

We were attending a wedding nearby, the hotel was able to accommodate an earlier check in and parking. Was a surprisingly warm day for May and fans were provided in the room. Rooms are basic but just want you needed for 1 night. The bathroom was newly renovated, very clean with a great shower. Breakfast was ok. Women on the front desk was extremely lovely, could not be more helpful and suggested we take her number in case of any issues. We had problems with Taxis and she was able to help.

Great location, really well equipped apartment. Private parking was an added bonus. Excellent value for money, more comfortable and convenient than staying in a hotel too. Only stayed for one night, but would be great for an extended stay for business trips etc.

The Inn used alternative accommodation in Brandon House Hotel across the road. This is a newly refurbished historic 18th century house. It was well decorated, very warm and very quiet.
