Quaint New forest village in beautiful and peaceful countryside.
Loved how the horses would just wander through the village.
Two very nice village pubs (The White buck, Queens Head) both with great outdoor seating area.
Excellent central location to explore the New forest with most towns in the area only a 15-30 minute drive away including to the beach at Keyhaven.

A very small village with a couple of niche tourist shops,...
A very small village with a couple of niche tourist shops, cafes and pubs. Fantastic location for access to the New Forest and lots of forest walks. Easy access from A31 west bound yet still in the heart of the forest. A car is a must if you want to explore any other villages/towns. Beware you now have to pay in forest car parks!

Apparently, according to the notes on this screen, reviews that are quite long are more helpful to people reading the review. Well, I liked the place and I will consider going back there for a weekend or two where I can enjoy the food, say hello to the staff, and get some work done - and maybe even practice playing the guitar in the quiet solitude of a gazebo in the grounds outside. Does this review earn me a free coffee?

Burley was lovely, a few gift shops and places to buy ice...
Burley was lovely, a few gift shops and places to buy ice cream and fudge. Very cute little town. Loved that a few horses were outside the pub when we arrived and they looked like they were queuing for a pint. A short walk from the hotel or a couple of minutes drive. Plenty of lovely walks from the hotel, and great that it’s dog friendly.

The perfect place for a relaxing holiday.
The perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Don't expect lots of attractions in the New Forest, just natural beauty & plenty of walking. Some lovely towns to visit, down to the coast and a day out at Beaulieu is a must. Great selection of country pubs too!

Nice and central for everything we wanted to do in the area. Burley is only a small place and the shops closed early so you need to get anything you need during the day. Overall a very good trip and I loved the area and hotel

Self catering 3 bed 2 bathroom bungalow cottage. Warm, comfortable and well equipped. Very clean, large rooms, right in Burley Village. Close to cafes, pubs, rental cycle shop, gift shops and also the forest for a leisurely, relaxing holiday. Very dog friendly area. We love Burley, New Forest.

Clean and comfortable hotel in a great location in the New Forest, friendly welcoming staff and a relaxed atmosphere.
We came in an electric car, so the EV charging point was very welcome.
Breakfast and lunch were good and the service was good too.
