United KingdomLocation fab, very friendly, comfortable rooms....just a touch warm through the night but wouldn't put me off. Considering above a pub had a good sleep ...wasn't noisy. Allowed to leave our cases which was a great help as train wasn't until afternoon, fab location near everything, great little pub too with a great offer of a card stamp , buy 3 pints get next one free 👍 would defo stay again....five stars 😁 also had everything you needed in the room....the little bowl of sweets on the dresser is a cute touch too ...had an upstairs sun terrace , partly covered with tv showing the rugby 👍 great place to stay ...really enjoyed it. Thankyou

Me and my son had the most relaxing time.
Me and my son had the most relaxing time. The hot tube was lovely and warm, we had ropes and slippers in the room. The sauna didn’t use much but was a good touch. The fridge was full of milk water juice and Prosecco all free of charge! Big tv will all apps. Lovely get away I can’t wait to return already.

If they offer quieter rooms away from the garden that hosted parties, that would be great. Otherwise, it's the luck of the draw.. Banging doors and screaming children do not make a wonderful stay.. However, do eat there. Food was great.

We live, work in London and have family in the area that we...
We live, work in London and have family in the area that we like to visit. Byers Green is the perfect countryside accommodation. The views are stunning of the countryside. With sheep! (I am from London!) The locals are friendly and, being a mixed couple (I am a black women with a Glaswegian husband) I was comfortable. There are many places to eat with a dog too which made our visit great.

Wonderful accommodation, room and bathroom amazing, sauna in room fantastic, hot tub hot and ready to use, great at night, perfect for a great night sleep, linen top quality, breakfast excellent, time went to quickly, would definitely recommend this accomodation 🥰

Byers Green itself is small and doesn't have any real...
Byers Green itself is small and doesn't have any real places of interest so you do have to drive to places e.g. Beamish Museum and Durham City are both within short car journeys from the hotel. As the hotel restaurant only serves dinner from Thurs to Sun early week visitors will need to travel about 10 minutes to nearby towns like Bishop Auckland (10 mins) where there are a lot of restaurants.

Not ideal if you don't have your own transport and there are no shops in the village. You don't have to travel far for shops and the TWH allowed us to take food in without any issues (plates and cutlery provided)
