It was a great location for us between Fionnphort and Craignure. Our beds were so comfortable! We didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. Very convenient to have dinner and breakfast at the Inn. Such a beautiful location. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sheiling. The location by the sea was incredible and so relaxing. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had good quality cooking equipment, sharp knives, cafetiere and even a grater. It was so quiet and we loved how the glamping units weren't packed in too closely. The location was perfect to explore all of the sights of Mull. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

View is amazing! Adequate kitchen stuff to get by. Conveniently located near ferry, but nothing else there if you need to buy anything. Location is great to travel out in multiple directions.

Spacious and cozy, it was very comfortable and great value for money. 10 minute drive from the ferry with on site parking. I was in Mull specifically to bag the Munro on the island. This cottage was a half an hour drive. Self check in was easy and convenient, it took the pressure off having to give a specific check in time. Plenty of kitchen facilities. I would not only stay here again, but have recommended it to othera that may visit the island

I loved the house! It's such a beautiful homely place and the gardens are stunning too. Our hosts were so kind and did everything to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and nothing seemed too much for our hosts. Fae entertained my little girl so I could eat my food in peace which was very sweet! There was a lovely log fire lit each night in the living room for us and we had a lovely evening chatting with Fae. The room was very comfortable and the decor was exactly how you would expect in a traditional cottage. The bathroom was clean and spacious with plenty of hot water and warm towels on the radiator. Perfect place for a peaceful retreat on the beautiful Isle of Mull!

Craignure is a perfect base for exploring the Isle of Mull, the ferry from Oban lands here. Situated virtually at the mid point to travel to either Tobermorey or Fionnport (Iona) and all that lies inbetween.

Craignure is basically the nearest CalMac port from Oban - there are very few facilities in the village. The Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa is just a short drive or perhaps 15 minute walk from the ferry port - it is probably one of the largest hotels on the Isle of Mull. You are well situated to get around the rest of the island by car from here

Whilst Pennygate Lodge is a lovely guest house we found...

Whilst Pennygate Lodge is a lovely guest house we found Craignure a very drab functional place. We might have been better staying in Tobermory though the available accommodation there was not as good. Two storms approaching from the west starting with torrential rain did not help make our visit to Craignure very pleasant. Close to ferry of course which is a positive. However nearby Duart Castle well worth a visit.

Craignure is beautiful even in poorer weather.

Craignure is beautiful even in poorer weather. If planning to eat out of an evening this would be best booked in advance as there was only one pub serving food near the ferry terminal and they stopped serving at 8pm.

Very small village.

Very small village. Good charity shop and cafe and small Spar shop. Craignure Inn very poor food. Isle of mull community swimming pool good. Isle of mull food good but expensive. 45mins to Tobermory for shops and reasonable pubs/cafes. One hour on mainly single track roads to Dervaig and 90mins to Fionnphort for ferry to Iona ( £4.60 return on ferry to Iona then 10mins walk to Abbey for £9 entrance) . Good community pub in Fionnphort with good range of real ales and good food.

The spa hotel is a gorgeous place to stay.

The spa hotel is a gorgeous place to stay. Craignure has beautiful nature whilst also being close to the ferry terminal. A wonderful relaxing and restorative place to stay especially after a day exploring Mull, Iona and Staffa.

An amazing space. Everything you need to cook and have a wonderful relaxing holiday. Peaceful, light and airy. The views are incredible and you are close to everything. Great local shops and a swimming pool and spa at the local hotel. Perfect!

Its location, although a bit dated, it was very clean and had everything you’d need. It’s a great base to explore, although Craignure doesn’t have much else after 6pm, the pub is welcoming, with great beer and good food though.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Rooms are lovely and spotless. Comfy beds, excellent tea & coffee amenities in bedroom. Food is superb and spa facilities were excellent. Will definitely be back!
