It is an old Inn located in a beautiful region. We made small excursions to Bodium Castle, Great Dixter House and Gardens, and smaller villages and their churches nearby. The Pub in the hotel was warm and inviting. Harry Cox and his staff went above and beyond for us. We enjoyed generous meals, fun entertainment, and cozy atmosphere!

Lovely hosts and excellent location for visiting the fabulous National Trust properties and famous gardens in the area. Never had to drive more than 30 mins to these bucket list locations. The studio was bright and cosy, superbly fitted out, with awesome westerly sunset views west over the fields. Sitting on the outdoor patio, listening to the birdsong and watching the sunset = wonderful!

Kiki, Chris and their staff added a delightful personal touch to a very pleasant B&B in a delightful setting. The room was excellent and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. Somehow, the Farmhouse seems to attract pleasant people and the afternoon tea and breakfasts became delightful social gatherings. Perfect setting for visiting Sissinghurst Gardens (of course) as well as the other gardens and attractions in the area. We stayined for five nights and wished we could have stayed longer.

Shepherds hut with ensuite shower/wc, beautifully furnished in a peaceful, secluded location. A very good continental breakfast is provided, which we enjoyed outside in the sunshine. The hut is so cosy and comfortable, it makes for a perfect romantic stay. We enjoyed an evening meal at a great Turkish restaurant in nearby Tenterden. All in all, a lovely weekend away.

Lots of free parking and even an electric charger near the pub we stayed in. We were here for the Big Cat Festival as it was the closest and most reasonable place to stay for us. We stayed in the George inn and that was lovely.

Cranbrook is an interesting place, with various buildings having plaques describing their history. the property we stayed in was an old coffee house, behind us on the hill was the 'Smock' mill. The 'town hall' also had an interesting history.

Cranbrook is a pretty town, well looked after, with a very nice high street with an interesting variety of shops. I would have enjoyed a day or two more to explore some of the interesting places near by. Nice places to eat.

We ate dinner and breakfast at the George Hotel. Food at breakfast and dinner great with a great menu for both. The staff are helpful and friendly. We went to the theatre attached to Cranbrook School and it was impressive, good comfortable seating and a nice bar.

Cranbrook is a beautiful picture post card town with clapperboard houses, dominated by the church and the School. The Museum and the Windmill need to advertise better when they are open. I am concerned that The Providence Hall, an important listed Non conformist chapel, is clearly deteriorating and is being allowed to reach a point where it will be considered beyond repair and reuse. Thank goodness the Coop is available to buy food etc from. I arrived on a bank holiday Sunday evening by public transport so had to get a taxi from Staplehurst Station. £20 for 4 miles . I left by Arriva bus on my bus pass.-free.

Staff were excellent, helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Easy & quick check in. The hotel has a great historic vibe & is wonderfully quirky. The food was another highlight, it was very good indeed (we had dinner at the hotel, as well the cooked breakfast) with sizeable portions & it was well presented & nicely cooked.
