Very friendly landlord who was happy to squeeze me in for dinner when I arrived late. The room was perfect - clean and comfortable. I didn't have breakfast and left early but the evening meal was delicious. Free parking just a short walk away.

Jo, the publican, was very friendly when we checked in. She gave us a better, ground floor room for my disabled grandma (I did not even have to ask). All staff in the pub were very helpful both at dinner and breakfast. The room has recently been refurbished, everything was very clean and new. Very good value for money for the 3 of us. Good food in the pub at dinner. Tasty full English breakfast, with fruit, cereals and yogurt also available.

Ideally situated for visiting surrounding area, just off the A419 so Swindon to the south and Cirencester to the north are easily reached. Several places to stay and a few eating places are to be found. Overall a quiet little historic town that we have staid in and keep going back.

All the furniture in the rooms were really old and outdated...

All the furniture in the rooms were really old and outdated and in need of total refurbishing. It wouldn’t surprise me that f some of the furniture came from charity shops. The rooms were really overpriced. So, will definitely not recommend this hotel.

It was a Village Pub Inn and very comfortable.

It was a Village Pub Inn and very comfortable. The Inn and Pub owner (Steve) was very helpful when I asked if he could heat up a can of soup for us. He immediately said YES. we were very thankful as it was our dinner. The Inn was right in the center of Cricklade and the Inn was easily identified for first time visitors. The Inn was near the upstream part of the Thames River which has good walking nature path along it.

The room was lovely with extra touches that made it feel luxurious with an amazing view of surrounding countryside however a side table by the bed would have been good to have and surprisingly missing

A nice old town, with a great variety of old buildings that make it an interesting place to wander around. A decent selection of pubs for its size, most of which do food and there are cafes too during shopping hours.

We were actually visiting the Gloucestershire Vintage & Country Extravaganza on South Cerney airfield, and our three day visit to display our car on our car club stand was fantastic. We drove through the village which looked delightful and probably worth exploring.

Easy access, Good size room, comfy bed. Great shower cubicle. Lovely quality towels supplied. All the tea and coffee making supplies provided. Quiet at night. We rang to check about booking-in times as we were attending a wedding with a schedule, and the hotel was very accommodating. Nice and clean and everything working, would stay again, would recommend.

Perfect location for the Thames path. Really nice pub with its own brewery! Beautiful pub garden. Friendly staff. Cricklade is pretty and has all you need in terms of shops and restaurants. Room was huge! Big bathroom too with a bath. Very nice furniture in the bedroom. Enormous bed. Well equipped. Very comfortable.

Lovely hotel, light and sunlit bar and restaurant. I organised a function using the ballroom, the service, friendliness and food were exceptional. The chef, Peter and Event manager Georgia McAdam could not have done more. All staff were friendly and extremely helpful including Daryl, the front of house manager.

Located in an interesting village. The hotel is an old coaching house. Our room was quite small but comfortable enough for our 1 night stay. Our evening meal was good, we didn't stay for breakfast.
