Beautiful house in a beautiful, small village. The surroundings are green, idyllic and peaceful. The hosts are friendly, generous and caring, full of suggestions on how to spend your time in the area. (Not to mention the little dog Bonnie who’s equally excited to meet you.) The room is spacious with all the necessary conveniences, the bed is supremely comfortable, and the bathroom is well designed. I wish I’d stayed longer to enjoy both the excellent hospitality and the area!

A perfect apartment for our 5 day stay. Clean, warm, next to the pub and a shop, short drive to local attractions and the hot tub was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again.

A very large bedroom, with good facilities. The evening meal was delicious and well presented. The views from the restaurant are exceptional. There was a good selection of herbal teas in the bedroom, and plenty of storage space. An ideal stop for bikers, given the storage space available in the rooms.

Very nice and lovely place. A little bit tricky to found the location, but the owner sent the pictures which makes it easier to found. The bed is comfortable, shower, toilet and all what you need for peaceful stay, no phone signal, just nature and good company, feels like out of the world and technologies

A great location for an overnight stop in a quiet rural area of Wales. Staff were friendly and great hospitality. The room was modern, clean and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. A clean modern bathroom and shower was nice. The rooms are above the pub, but even with a window open, it wasn’t that noisy even on this Friday night. We had a lovely continental breakfast, with lots of quality brand products and fresh fruit to choose from. It was nice that there were also take-away cups for the coffee machine. All in all we had a lovely evening here and would stay there again.

At the village 2 miles away there's a beautiful little steam railway with a very cute period station that leads right away down to Llangollen the further down the Valley there was the canal aqueduct across the river Dee an incredible experience walking over it. You can hire a kayak if you are brave enough!

Nice quiet village where the pub was, however they did not do food on Monday and Tuesday. Very nice host, and the young man behind the bar was friendly. Great size room, continental breakfast. Was good to know that the owners had brought the pub back to life for the village. The owner sent us to a lovely pub that was doing food with a fantastic views.
