Location was fabulous, overlooking the estuary with the rising hills dotted with sheep behind the pool house. As a vegan the breakfast was adequate. The bread wasn't great. Used to sourdough not pre sliced white bread. Tofu scramble would have been nice. The tea was good and there was my preferred plant based milk.

What Guests Said About Dawlish Warren:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 10

The park was ideal.

The park was ideal. Went into Dawlish itself which is easy to get to. Best fish and chip place is called Sea Breeze right next to the Dawlish railway station. Buses are quite frequent which is nice if you don't drive. Nice that you can use the Store in the other site. It is so peaceful if you want to relax.

I like the location and the facilities, and the general layout of the caravan site. It is only a short walk from the train station and the beach in Dawlish Warren, so it is convenient. This allowed us to easily travel to Dawlish, Paignton, Teignmouth, and Torquay for days out by train or bus. There are good local amenities like shops, takeaways and pubs. There is also an onsite shop which is open between 9:00am and 6:00pm which was useful for buying milk on the first day we stayed there.

Loved Dawlish Warren lots to do especially for children great shops and bars. My grandson loved the fun fair. The train station just under bridge can get the trains to lots of other places, we went to Teignmouth, and Exmouth. Definitely worth a visit 5 stars plus.

The beach itself was fantastic and scenic.

The beach itself was fantastic and scenic. Amusement park on site at the beach with places to east too. Nature reserve by the beach, train watching spots too. The Chip Thief has to be the best fish and chips we’ve had too 10min drive or 50min walk to Dawlish town where the black swans are and Gays Creamery for a cake. Utterly tremendous and beautiful place to visit

We loved the whole place, the walks, the beach and the fact that almost everywhere was dog friendly. Teignmouth was a 10 minute drive, also very pleasant and Dawlish was 5 minutes away. We preferred Dawlish Warren for the scenery and the walks. Plenty of places to eat, fish and chips, pubs, etc. mini funfair for the kids. Good carparks, around £3.50 for 2 hours so a little pricey. Cannot comment on the quality of the eateries as we didnt eat out. Overall at this time of year (October) although the weather may not be the best, the place it is very peaceful and quiet. Not sure it would be in the height of summer!

Good for families.

Good for families. Parking here relatively easy and convenient to get into Dawlish which is a lovely town with better beaches. In fact, you can walk all the way to Dawlish along the newly built sea wall .
