The grounds were beautiful and I had a lovely View from my window. A really good nights sleep in a comfortable bed, and breakfast was a good variety and quality. I was staying for a wedding and the bar manager was excellent!

Our second stay at this charming property in Oxfordshire We actually drove 100 miles out of our way to stay here as the last time we stayed it was exceptional This time was every bit as good The food was some of the best I have personally tasted, the ambience excellent and the vibe of everyone was so positive We shall be returning. Authentic, old fashioned (in a nice way) British country pub. Nice selection of food and drinks. The room was quiet, and the bed comfortable. Very close to Dorchester Abbey and there is a village shop to buy essentials. It is about 30 minutes by car from Oxford City Centre and is close to a number of other attractive villages. Culham train station is only 4 miles away (less than 10 minutes away).

The village was very pretty with lots of walking and sites...

The village was very pretty with lots of walking and sites all close by such as the Thames pathway and cycle routes. Hotels, bars and a nice village shop all ads to the ambiance. I ate at the White Hart Hotel and the food was excellent (Pie of the day). Stayed in room 7 which was very nice as well.

Great location - close to the Cotswolds and Oxford, but...

Great location - close to the Cotswolds and Oxford, but better value accommodation. Lovely walk on the Thames path to Days lock. Dorchester has 3 pubs/hotels in a small village - the best is the White Hart for food, but The George and Fleur-de-lys also serve great food.

Convenient for village centre and bus route to Oxford. Pretty village with good pubs, corner shop and farm cafe. Comfy bed and very clean. Terrible shower and noise in the evening from the pub downstairs. Pub garden needs a tidy up.

A picturesque village with Dorchester Abbey right in the...

A picturesque village with Dorchester Abbey right in the heart with services anyone can join in. The choir and music are wonderful. Beautiful walks alongside the Rivers Thame and Thames, and if you are a fan of Midsomer Murders you will be in your element, quite a few scenes have been filmed here, you can even go on a Midsomer Murder walk around the village. We will definitely return.

The village is very quiet but charming, there are lovely walks along the Thames to enjoy and three pubs / eating places You can easily access Oxford from here by car 20 mins so ideal for those seeking the best of both

Absolutely love this Hotel and cannot rate it highly enough. The manager is such a lovely guy who simply can’t do enough for you. He pays attention to every single guest and goes out of his way to make sure everyone staying there is happy. Same can be said for the rest of the staff , they all give 100%

Clean. Well equipped. Really lovely sheets and bath towels. Very comfy bed. Staff were lovely. Very helpful. Had dinner at the pub in the evening. Was really very yummy food and good value. Great service too. Would definitely recommend for any one staying in lovely Dorchester on Thames.
