It was clean, warm and the beds were comfortable. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious.

Location was lovely and quiet. Nice to see all the horses and lovely view from the room. Everything needed was available, hosts left biscuits and milk for us which was nice! We only stayed one night as we were on a flying visit to see family nearby, would have liked to be able to have a longer stay and take some walks around the area. Maybe next time!

easy access to all local places and a great location...

easy access to all local places and a great location driffield is a beautiful place we were at a wedding locally so ideal for us as it was only 5 minutes drive to our wedding venue the car parking was excellent and lots of small independant shops for anything you need we will definately be back just for the market we went to and the lovely shops perfect day out for anyone as well.

Great little village/town, we only stayed for 1 evening but...

Great little village/town, we only stayed for 1 evening but walked through and frequented a couple of bars and locals were friendly. It seems to be an old style village and keeps its own style, we missed the market but will be going back to see what that is like.

A great little town with quite a few independent shops to...

A great little town with quite a few independent shops to wander round. Lovely walking along the Driffield Beck. We had come up by train for a long weekend to attend some friends of ours anniversary party and being non drivers there was enough to see and do for a long weekend. We had a lovely Indian meal in the Bollywood Indian Restaurant. If you drive, it's a great location to get out & about with plenty to see within short driving distances.

A very typical Yorkshire market town.

A very typical Yorkshire market town. Plenty of shops and bars. The cheapest Wetherspoons I've been to. The town is quite compact, so not far to see all the shops. We went to Burton Agnes Hall, which we really enjoyed. In the other direction is Sledmere House, another place worth visiting. About 10 miles away is Bridlington, and the East coast. Plenty to see and do.

A lovely friendly small town with lots of independent shops...

A lovely friendly small town with lots of independent shops and businesses. Plenty of places to eat and its got a lot of its old character giving it lots of charm. It seems theres some lovely walks in the area too, around the countryside and canal.

Lovely little market town, had a wander round on Thursday...

Lovely little market town, had a wander round on Thursday which was market day and was a lovely feel to it with independent traders selling. Absolutely loved the proper old school greengrocers there too, every town should have one, spent a small fortune in there very happily, most of the items are local too. Shout out to the amazing mural in town too

Beautiful building with lots of character features. Interesting place to stay. Room was huge - bigger than some flats! Black out curtains were brilliant. Very quiet to say it’s on a high street. Bedroom and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Much better than a modern hotel where every room is plain and boring. Good parking facility. Great location. Lovely accommodating staff. Breakfast was ok. Good selection.

This is such a fantastic hotel in a picturesque setting. We felt relaxed as soon as we got there and were blown away by the room. It had such character and was very clean with high quality shower and bath products. Super comfy thick mattress. The outdoor courtyard was a beautiful place to enjoy a drink and although we didn't dine there, we were impressed with the food menu and breakfast was delicious.

Tidy little property and a nice change from a generic hotel as I was staying for 2 nights for work. Right on the high street but set back slightly so no noise or anything. Large car park behind/close to the property so parking was easy. Has everything you need for a quick break or short stop over. Ideal. Thumbs up.
